What do unmanned US Navy submersibles like this even do? Reconnaissance?

They compete with whales for food. Soon whales will go extinct and whale-drones will take their place.

I am utterly mystified as to why Iran showed this off before it was in being taken apart in a warehouse in Moscow or the DPRK, the US is very good at locating things to blow up. They even showed footage of it being towed into a dock showing the skyline in broad day light.

>>65496509
Please don't post that anon, it triggers me to no end that Iran got handed an entire assembly line for those glorious little bastards and wasted them all by being to cowardly to actually try and use them. Seeing that Yono get blown up in it's dock made me a moderate when it comes to Total Persian Death, i was previously only wishing for demographic decimation.

I think this war has emboldened Iran, as well as RoW, honestly. It was taken as axiomatic that the empire had but to cast its baleful gaze upon you, and you were ash. But despite the near-omnipotence of America's military, the way it conducts war has been shown to be surprisingly cowardly and lacking in strategy (and honor, but that was never a biggie for burgers). I'd be interested in seeing what China is plotting behind the scenes, now that America's munitions are running dry. Every crisis is an opportunity, as they say in their culture. Fun times ahead.

It's a shame that Venezuela is getting forgotten due to Iran. That operation probably had an insane amount of planning and insiders to pull off, even if you believe the lie that they just gave up Maduro since that'd imply we have people on the inside. But of course Kegsie and Trump smelled blood in the water and decided to run into Iran with their pants around their ankles and their dicks in their hands falling for the oldest meme in the book, "we'll kick in the door and the whole rotting structure will collapse". My point is, we can absolutely come up with some beautiful schemes if the guys who actually plan are given time and allowed to work but politicians are impulsive little shits and Trump doubly so
>>
>mq-4 malfunctions and gets captured by the iranians
>this underwater sub malfunctions and gets captured by the iranians
is this just a coincidence or what
>>
>>65497476
Why wouldn't the US have people on the inside? They've been actively working on and in Venezuela for over a decade, and had a more passive presence there for far longer. The Maduro op was just getting impatient and ripping off the band-aid
>>
>>65500188
Coincidence that Iran has no means of capturing one unless it breaks down on its own? Guess so.

Fast boats with fishermen's nets?
Underwater drones with fishermen's nets?
>>
>>65496545
Because ultimately it's a mass-produced drone that for all we know contains nothing valuable to, or useable by, Iran and its allies, thus its only benefit is for propaganda claims.

Context is important. When the USA is careful and thorough in its planning it can snatch a head of state out of his bedroom on a different continent. When the USA halfasses everything and yeets itself into a conflict on the other side of the globe it manages to functionally destroy an opposing navy, cripple an air force, wipe out the upper echelons of a nation's political and military command, and gut its enemies economy in the span of less than a year.

>now that America's munitions are running dry
Why do niggers of all varietals not understand how the fucking reserves work? Trump cannot mobilize all US armed forces without at least a nod from Congress. He also cannot access the reserves of any munition unless said reserves are above the minimum legal requirement. It's the same reason the Biden Administration couldn't just give Ukraine the over two million 155mm shells we have laying around, they have to wait for new munitions to be made so old munitions can be cycled out of the reserve. This is also why Trump and Biden swiped US assets stationed in allied nations, those are not legally protected and can be reallocated at will.

The US is sitting on a massive pile of arms and armaments, it has no shortage of anything and anybody claiming that it does is doing so because that's how they ensure they get allocated shit during the next procurement.

Basically if you want to pull shit which would only elicit a limited military response by the Executive branch then yes it is a good time to pull shit. If you were China and had ambitions to pull major shit which might result in a Congressional action or even the declaration of war, no it is a not a good time to start shit.

>When the USA halfasses everything and yeets itself into a confli
Going to point out that the deciding factor was jewish influence. The US took its sweet time with Venezuela. Israel was pushing for the Iranian intervention, it was pulling all the political strings it could and insisting that the US abide by its timetable which is determined by its own internal politics because shit had to get done before Bibi loses political control or the entire project would no longer have sufficient support.

If the US was a genocidal, imperialist, expansionist, white supremicist state it could murder half the planet in a year by cutting off all the necessities of life, all trade, and flattening all vital infrastructure. The it could go in and murder the stragglers with nerve gas and replace them with white colonists and robots. It would also be completely immune to all retaliatory terrorism because non-whites simply wouldn't be allowed to exist within its borders and it likely wouldn't maintain embassies in non-whites(or non-jap/jughead) nations.

If the US was what libtards, darkies, and the lefty jews claim it was it would be invincible. So I say we should go all in: glass Israel, glass every mudslime country, throw out everybody who is a shade darker than milk and steal their money on the way out. Nobody could do shit about it. If you're gonna do the time might as well do the "crime".

>a matter of international politics derived from an ongoing conflict between Iran and Israel involves jews who run AIPAC which is the single largest campaign contributor to both parties
>you're a conspiritard to think the da joos might be involved in a political matter involving a jewish ethnostate.
There is a different between seeing a jew under every bed and admitting that maybe jews are involved with a political decision regarding fucking Israel. I don't need to the jews to be responsible for everything, I already want them all dead.

>>65501281
1) Because Iran's involvement wasn't direct or great enough to really warrant it. At first, then they decided to fund the Houthis for months and that is what probably tipped the scales against them and got enough support for at least planning of the current smack down on Iran.
2) Bibi wasn't in as deep shit at the time but is poor handling of the Palestine crisis and the fact that his retarded agents accidentally gave money to to very Palis who later did Oct-7th has landed him in hot water politically. Basically his time may be coming to an end whereas two years ago the Iran situation looked less time sensitive.

From an Israeli perspective I think it was stupid since Iran was falling to pieces on its own, but jews are in fact not omniscient schemers they are just extreme ethnic nepotists with deep pockets.

>>65501299
Draka are retarded pussies, the US doesn't have to be conveniently ignored by all the other surrounding powers for a century to pull this shit. And it doesn't require or want a pile of mudman slaves to operate.
>if anything it would be a net POSITIVE
So why would anybody oppose it? If the Japs, Jugheads, Europeans, ect are allowed to keep their own ethnostates and the hypothetical American Empire is just preying on darkies what exactly is their motivation to go to war with the more powerful state, and no I don't think morality will be sufficient given the current state of their militaries.
>>
>>65501266
Yeah but that wasn't the what the post I responded to was implying. They were implying there was a shortage of munitions in general rather than in the theatre of operations. Which there is for reasons both your and I stated: danger of stockpiling close to the belligerents and the depletion of the stockpiles that the Executive can legally access.

This post has demoralized me, we need to start blowing up water treatment plants and power generation sites to overcome this great shame
>>
>>65503767
It was clearly a response to the joke you retarded fagort.
>>
>>65503786
If the US or Israel does that, Iran will retaliate by blowing up the water infrastructure of the US's incompetent petrostate allies. Iran might not be able to sink a US supercarrier, but it can do OK against the finest air defense crews Saudi Arabia can muster because lol arabs at war.

Whether or not this is a bad thing in the long term is admittedly up to debate, but at the very least it will create a pretty nightmarish humanitarian situation and crash the global economy.
>>
>>65503814
Iran's problem is that it can't really escalate the conflict without inviting that response from its neighbors. It's options are to escalate to existential response (from a bunch of nations that realistically don't give a shit about things like "war crimes") or sit there and eat a freefalling economy and shortages while hoping its population doesn't become too discontented.
