Would getting my 1911 nickel plated be worth it? I mean itll look absolutely cool as fuckin shit, but its got a barebones parkerized finish right now so would stripping that and having an electroless nickel plating be a "better" finish? I live in a moderately humid midwestern state
You should kill yourself frogfaggot
>>65504612What do you think the 1911 is for, lil nigga
>>65504600>Should I alter/modify my gun?Only if you shoot it. If it's going to be a safe queen, then don't bother.
>>65504600>Would getting my 1911 nickel plated be worth it?That's not really a question that anyone but you can answer you worthless frogphoner. Post the gun.
I love nickel guns. I had some parts nickel plated for my 870 Marine. Check out CCR Refinishing IIRC.
>>65504880>>65504612why do you hate the frog?
>>65505066Frog haters are insufferable
>>65505041I just like how lustrous it is, i used to want hard chrome or stainless but theyre closer to matte when not in direct light, proper nickel is so glossy and nice
>>65504600>nickel platedYou will never again be able to use copper solvent to clean your gun, but if that's acceptable to you then go for it.
>>65505098If that's what you want, you would be better off just buying a gun that's nickel plated from the factory.
