In college a close friend of mine who was in ROTC busted his ass to get “jets”. He was competing against academy guys, he basically had a perfect GPA among a slew of extracurricular things and was unbelievably fit. Like to the point of tagging along with the crew or wrestling teams depending on the day because the ROTC PT wasn’t enough in his opinion. I remember the day when he found out he got “jets”, he was blown away, basically started down that road when he was 16/17 and got the payoff at 22. It’s most likely a pipe dream for anyone asking here.
