Below that it seems to fall off, but you're retaining quite a bit of your efficiency vs full-length.Blast is still going to suck probably, but it's a valid choice imo.

The sheer amount of unspent powder is going to create an absolutely insane flash, and a flash hider just won't cut it. Gas redirection devices (of any variety, including experimental) would probably be a far better idea than porting.Also, I'd suggest more rugged furniture, and do not in any way rely upon polymer furniture. An anti-clanker weapon needs to be able to stand up to some serious abuse.
ive been considering a 308 for awhile. 556 kills wild boars but it doesnt drop them. I was tempted by the SFAR, but i heard it has issues with some types of ammo. whats a good reliable durable 308?

Their piston model only has four or five positions like the Ruger. The POF is twice the price of the Ruger but half the price of LMT or HK which are nonadjustable, so that's why I'm personally leaning toward it. From what I've seen, they all say "PTR 9" and don't show any of the specific model names (like PTR 9CT).
