>>65536723I don't have an SSA to compare, but I do have a LaRue, a few SSA-Es, and a Super Scar which is supposedly comparable to the SSA. Overall I would say the LaRue is great for general use. It's fairly similar to the Super Scar and is definitely better than a mil-spec trigger (even the "enhanced" ones). The SSA-E is significantly lighter and more crisp, so that would be my preference for a target/precision gun. I don't think I would pay $150 more for the Geissele though. I think I paid about that much for each of my SSA-Es on sale.

If you apply force to the rail then you can pull the front sight out of alignment, but the same thing happens with optics because force on the rail is force on the barrel nut and AR uppers are not stiff enough to prevent that from affecting the barrel.
