As per robotic summary:
>military brigade of nearly 5,000 soldiers and civilian personnel in Lithuania to defend NATO's eastern border.
>This historic move marks Germany's first permanent military deployment outside its own borders since World War II.
>The Deployment PlanUnit Name: The unit is called Panzerbrigade 45 (Armored Brigade 45).Personnel: About 4,800 soldiers and 200 civilian staff will move to Lithuania.

What do we think? Thoughts? Opinions? This is obviously good and I'm glad to see Germany pulling some real weight in NATO.

Could this be preparing for Germany to handle most the land-based deployments on the eastern flank?
>>
>>65536137
Thats cool. I wonder how much the recent murmurs of Baltic invasion spurred this, or was it already in plans before and just coincidentally timed?
>>
Source?

And no, Germans aren't a large enough force to start doing this all over eastern europe. They could maybe do 1 more of these, 2 if they increased the size of their military, but I don't see anything more than that happening outside of smaller installations hosting perhaps a battalion-sized element
>>

Tripwire road bump.
What anti drone systems do they have?
>>
>>65536142
Our government proposed this as a pipe-dream and the Germans just said "Ok."

It's very lucky and funny.
Idea is, it's more than a trigger force and actually a massive infrastructure and cultural undertaking for Lithuania, since many Germans will be moving in with families and all.
They got enough volunteers for 80% of the force, thw rest will be assigned here
>>65536143
Other countries are looking for similar arrangements with other countries, but haven't been so lucky. UK said no to Estonia and just said they'll assign some unit to defend it in case of war, Polamd has been trying to get an American base for a decade now

Russia has nothing to invade with. What are they going to send 100 dudes on bicycles to get instantly droned? Are they going to send in flying lawnmowers for F-16s to use as target practice?
>>
>>65536310
That's exactly it. They're going to poke with just enough to be a legitimate territorial violation, but not enough to warrant anyone stepping in with Article 5. The second a baltic country triggers Article 5 and nobody shows up NATO is dead, which is exactly what Monke jerks off to every night.

Germany is incredibly based for stepping up with 5 thousand troops moving in on a semi-permanent basis.

>>
>>65536539
It's a hard sell to ask the border patrol to get to 500 green men squatting in an empty forest to fuck off, and a harder sell to ask for the US to send an aircraft carrier to deal with them.

The point is that Russia does the bare minimum to provoke NATO and prove that the alliance is, fundamentally, indecisive. The only option is to bomb the fuckers the second they step over the border.
>>
5000 Germans are 0.25% of the population of Lithuania

>>65536186
IF they put 15.000 that's close to 1% of the population.

More interestingly, the armed forces are 12k so there'd be more German soldiers than Lithuanian ones.
>>
>>65536539
And you think they have homes?
>>
>>65536501
I think Putin is already planning a big mobilization and is going to use the Ukraine war as the cover but a lot of those troops will be going into the baltics, Russia is already doing border prep work next to Estonia. They are going to seriously test Trump and NATO's resolve soon and it's going to get real ugly, real fast if that resolve fails. A Trump sell out here would basically be a greenlight for a spiral into WW3.

>>
>>65536466
For now NATO air assets can't even shoot down russian lawnmower drones or aircraft which illegally cross the border. Weapons don't matter if there's no political will to use them. Kinda like ruslims having nukes don't help them win in Ukraine because they have no balls to use nukes (since monke is scared he'll get targeted personally by the western powers in retaliation for opening up the nuclear genie).
>>
>>65536999
In a modern globalized economy purchasing power is mostly a meme
>>
>>65536957
>what Sparta Battalion conquered
They've conquered dick
>>
>>65537069
In a modern globalized economy, nominal is important for measuring economic power while PPP is important for measuring domestic services. Foreign-produced goods might be an international commodity, but domestic goods and services are local. Cheap locally, less ability to command resources internationally.
>>
Estonia is the country that needs foreign troop deployment the most, their population is like ~20% ziggers and is probably the most strategically valuable for ziggers to hold due to its proximity to st. pidorsburg so if Putin is going to try to repeat 2014 it's going to happen there.
I suspect that western countries are reluctant to put troops in Estonia for this reason, they know it's next on the chopping block and don't want to get directly dragged into war with Russia themselves.
>>
>>65537110
>they know it's next on the chopping block
Estonia is a NATO member
Russia will never, ever directly invade a NATO member at the current balance of power
>>
Sounds like current events and not weapons related.

>>
>>65537118
>Russia will never, ever directly invade a NATO member at the current balance of power
Western intelligence keeps talking about a hypothetical "incursion" that may happen though, that's why I mentioned 2014 in my first post. It probably won't be a full-scale invasion to give a definitive article 5 response but maybe a small land grab a la Crimea where ziggers living in Estonia stage an independence referendum then little green men with plausible deniability move in "to protect ethnic russians". Putin has been hoping NATO fractures and toeing the line with article 5 over a small country most people won't care about is best way to apply pressure and see if western countries will chicken out and leave their former eastern bloc counterparts feeling betrayed.
>>
>>65537118
>Russia will never, ever directly invade a NATO member at the current balance of power
I'd say that they couldn't possibly be that stupid, but then again I thought the same in January 2022, and at this point I don't think anything could surprise me anymore.
>>

>>65536191

>>
>>65537118
I don't know why people can say this so confidently, an easy reality check is asking yourself with sincerity, which Western country could handle the intensity of warfare and casualty rates that Ukraine and Russia have been enduring for half a decade straight?
The Russian mindset hasn't changed one bit, if anything they only have ever gotten more emboldened by the cowardice and letargy of the EU, you look like easy targets right now, they sincerely believe that it just takes one good hit to knock it all down.

Another thing that is really worrying is that Russian media outlets and shills are working extra hard to DENY this right now, just like they did on the run up to 2022.

That's the point, retard, there's almost no "domestic products" existing in a vacuum. Life and real economy isn't your game of factorio, anon, there's pretty much no end-to-end local integrated chains for producing shit. A car which is "made in the US" is built using parts, components and resources made abroad. This isn't the 19th century.

That's why for example diesel in US is increasing in price, because nobody gives a shit if it's locally produced: if the international price is increasing (because the US shot itself in the dick with the Iran war), then the domestic one will follow as well, since otherwise the producers will just export shit instead of selling to locals. Regulations won't help you combat this too much by itself. It's the same thing with pretty much everything else.

Take russia for example: there's almost no "cheap products" in the country, partially because the country doesn't actually product that much shit domestically and partially because what it does produce is actually heavily dependent on foreign machinery, parts, components and so on. To the point that if a farmer wants to be efficient and grow cows he has to import fuckin' bull sperm from Europe (no, I'm not joking). Even the fuckin' USSR, which actually tried to be "self-sufficient" and make everything couldn't do it and had to rely on vassals from COMECON and those filthy western capitalists. Take two steps in USSR and shit was either foreign or was made using foreign stuff. The greatest examples of "Stalin's Industrialization"? Made by US engineers and companies on contract lmao. What is cheap in russia? Vodka and cigs (because these products have almost no actual cost and 90% of the price is taxation), some basic bitch services (because people work for pennies and thus it isn't actually that cheap for locals, that and borderline slave labor is often used), real estate (old dilapidated commieblocks in dying bumfuck towns with no economy).

Pretty much anything good and desirable either costs the same or often even more expensive than in Europe and US. And I'm not just speaking about fuckin' iPhones and PlayStations, but regular mass market shit like clothes and such. A pair of jeans which cost $40 on Amazon can run you over $100 in russia. Why? Often because of corruption costs afflicting things and no stability existing so businesses can't rely on their investments paying off in the long run: there's isn't any "long run", tomorrow doesn't exist, tomorrow the government might impose some bullshit laws, steal your company, get under new sanctions, etc. And also taxation, bureaucracy, shitty logistics, lack of good business climate, etc.

Before 2022 russians with a bit of money would routinely travel to Europe for shopping specifically because it was cheaper, even taking the travel shit into account. Nuff said. But yeah, bootleg sausages and pidor style pasta are relatively cheap in the store, as well as subsidized bread made from forage-tier flour.

>And 150k warrants article 5
Article 5 is a boogeyman nothingburger. There's nothing in it to force others to fight on behalf of the attacked country. If anything, the EU treaty has more robust mechanisms for collective defense, but without US even that is a bit cucked. I don't see people in Spain, France, Italy and such willingly going to war (with everything which that entails) for Estonia and such. Sorry, but good lipservice doesn't change reality. And like a big part of a potential ruslims invasion might specifically be to cause NATO to cuck out and thus commit sudoku publicly, since if it cucks out it stops being a thing. And then countries in Europe are left alone one-on-one with ruslim barbarians at the door.

Neither finland up north has any interest in leaving estonia alone or neither poles down south want to see the konigsberg nothing burger become a military staging ground if pidors manage to get a land bridge

In the middle of all of this is sweden that does not want pidors anywhere near their gotland. Nato will reform and retool as its functional parts l prove themselves and dead weight lip servicers are sidelined

the thing zigger shills don't understand and refuse to understand when it gets explained to them is that Baltic states are an escalation nightmare for the pidors.
sure you'll let your little green men wander over the border and set up a squat camp.
the guys coming to evict them will be the locals. but every and I do mean every other bit behind them will be made up of NATO/EU contingents.
the moment you so much as fire one shot those parts come into play and it's off to escalation and dragging other countries into this rodeo.
the direct fire support is German, the artillery on call is French, the medevac is Spanish, the field hospital is Belgian, the fighters overhead are Italian, the Americans are providing command and control, the AWCS keeping an eye on everything is Swedish, the guys closing russia off from the Baltic sea are Danish and Finish, the two brigades coming in as reinforcements are Polish.
and now it's up to you Pidor Pidorovisch to manage that cluster fuck and not hit a single one of those assets or risk dragging them into this.
>but time is on our side
the jeets and chinks (who are basically keeping russia afloat) are already telling putlet to cut it out. how the fuck do you think they will take an escalation like this?

the dream of ripping NATO apart over the Baltic states went out the window the moment the rest of NATO shifted to forward deploy troops in the Baltic states and the rest of the eastern flank. they didn't sell empty tales about how they would super duper put up a fight, no they put their men in harms way to show the russians they will.
>>
>>65537245

It's because Russia has insane taxes on labor, around 80% (for every 100 rubles worker gets it's is paid 80 rubles of taxes). And this tax load is applied even to lowest earning workers.
So Russian tax load makes it inviable to have business with large share of labor and added value from this labor (aka manufacturing). Enterprises less taxed in Russia:
1.Heavy capital low labor industries
2.Export industries (they get VAT return)
3.Imported goods resell
1 and 2 make perfect industry of oil exports (low labor share, plus export VAT return).
Russia been gas station is by design of it's tax codex.

I believe the tactic is to make it seem that there is a real possibility that Russia will invade (even though they don't have a damn chance of achieving success) to force NATO members to ramp up their own personal defense spendings and leave less room to loans and donations to Ukraine. Also, an actual total war or at least a convincing possibility of one is how dying regimes buy a little more time before collapsing.

If people actually paid what it cost to keep the systems running they'd collapse in an instant. Kinda like natural gas for domestic consumers is subsidized by export profits of Gazprom and Gazprom has to constantly whine how much of a loss generator the domestic supply is. But it's a political question for the regime. Even that, the costs had to balloon since 2015 (often doubling) due to RU economy running out of "free growth" potential by 2012-2014.
>>
>>65538153
>It's because Russia has insane taxes on labor
>Russia been gas station is by design of it's tax codex.
Nah, it's way simpler than that. Tax codex got made like this after their model of "free growth through oil export" has lost its steam by 2012-2014. The unofficial open secret motto of the new era became "people are the new oil", i.e. if we can't extract more money from oil then we'll extract it from people. This has a fuck ton of specific examples of how it got implemented, not the least of that being various "control systems" put in place and contracted out to monke's friends.

The fundamental issue is that it's a thug-run mafia country. One could write a whole book on the subject, but the QRD is that criminal organizations with retards in power (which is almost all of them) fundamentally can't figure out complex value added chains and thus devolve into simple/quick money making crap. To do complex shit you need smart people to run them, and smart people are dangerous. The regime doesn't like independent wealth generation per se (because it views that as potential resources that you can spend on opposition), doubly so when it has be run by some eggheads, which the regime views as hostile. It's easier to contract out complex shit to foreigners than to allow locals to create complex shit locally which isn't controlled.

That's why cartels can do drugs, human trafficking and some avocado production (good margins, short cycle, simple process) but can't do things like industry and such. Russia is exactly like that. You'll create something locally? Even if you work though all the local bullshit and survive the retarded economic conditions, the regime will just take your crap away at some point, install nepotism retards to run it and they'll run it into the ground and require subsidize from the budget to keep it afloat. It happens time and time again. Imagine how much shit isn't started because people see this?
>>

>Where's this idea coming from that you can just militarily fucking invade someone "a little bit" and it doesn't count?
Have you been asleep since 2022? Don't you remember how right before the ruslim invasion Biden was talking about "if russians do a full blown invasion, then we'll respond and there will be consequences, but it it will be something small then we won't"? It was premature cuckoldry galore
>>
>>65538215

cont. >>65538256
Examples of this are everywhere, from VK and Yandex to Tinkoff Bank and RosNeft.
But one of the best examples for me is: local state corporation run by a monke's friend has a local supplier -> supplier actually makes good shit surprisingly (often it's some startup made by true believer techie retards) -> however supplier is independent and doesn't want to cuck out before the master -> monke's friend pulls strings and fucks over the supplier -> monke's friend switches to foreign supplier -> local supplier gets fucked and dies. This happens so often that you can use this template and just replace the names to RosNeft, RZhD and so on lmao.
>>
>>65538267
Why are you autistic? It's not about NATO, it's about political cuckoldry which is willing to distinguish "actual invasion" vs "small incursion" and cuck out if given the chance.

>Tax codex got made like this after their model of "free growth through oil export" has lost its steam by 2012-2014
No it's not, all this compound taxation of labor in Russia was since it's fist tax system from 90s. Income tax+social funds "totally not taxes" mandatory payments+VATs. Since day one Russian taxation shaped Russian economy to turn into export gas station.
>>
>>65538203
>So high taxes on work correlate with high corruption and oligarchs running your cunt?
High taxes on labor make your manufacting industry uncompetitive.
It becomes more economically viable to sell oil and then buy Chinese manufactured goods with this oil profits than make your own goods. So Russia got Dutch disease on steroids.

>the point is to break the NATO *alliance* by stress-testing it with incursions.
>Russia does not need to invade;
but what happens if EU / NATO countries actually respond properly?
like bombing / shelling Russian military facilities and production lines,
even just near the border

considering St. Petersburg is <200km from EU borders
so well within reach of currently EU mass produced mid range drones
this seems like a very high risk low reward gamble

>just break NATO into 30+ separate countries. That why Putin has a hard-on on wanting West Europe to stop expanding NATO.
never understood that
to what end?
EU will continue to exist and continue to integrate military wise

also why is this always states as "reasonable" request!?

Russia had the option to integrate more closely with the EU in the early 2000s
but they did not want to
they wanted only into NATO which was declined for obvious reasons

the only reason Russia wants to dismantle NATO is to make way for their imperialistic aspirations and invade post-soviet states
which ironically is the only reason for NATO expansions

the """assumption""" is that they march into some border town (like Narva),
plant their flag

which, of course, is incredible retarded
because bombing the shit out of a Russian incursion on NATO / EU soil is completely uncontroversial

Russia already does as much as they reasonably can without getting a bigger reaction
i.e. "subtle" hybrid warfare on infrastructure or "accidental" drones
every step beyond, even shelling from inside Russia, where counter strikes can be easily framed as defensive action, are realistically out of question

it seems like it's all based on a sort of hyper-cynical theory that NATO is a bullshit organization that all its member states were pressed into by force. and now that the US is not around to bully the member states around, they'll disperse at the first sight of trouble. and therefore all russia needs to do is push over the 1st domino and watch it all tumble down (mwahaha)

occasionally i browse news on reddit (im a reddit spy) and there is always someone repeating this theory. my guess is that it's old soviet bloc worldview being projected onto NATO. as in, as soon as russia let the soviet union member states do what they wanted, they broke off and ran as far as they could. so i'm guessing they think NATO is the same thing. you occasionally see russians implicitly equate the two, with the US controlling the organization, aggressive NATO expansion and so on.

all this to say: it's once again projection

The Russians will do what they always do: escalate. If the Baltic sea is declared closed to shipping, they'll arm their merchant ships and escort them with frigates. They'll continue to sail right through the Baltic, threatening to NOOK if any EU state intervenes.

This playbook is like 30 years old at this point. NATO should have done a Reagan-style stomp on Russia when this bullshit cooked off in 2022, enforcing a 50km DMZ into Russia along the Ukrainian border. Black-bag all the siloviki kids living abroad, post their pics on the dark web and don't say anything to get the elites scared. >theory that NATO is a bullshit organization that all its member states were pressed into by force
First part is the decent guess, the later one is just ruslim delusions because in their mind everyone else is the same as they are. It's a form of reverse-lookism and/or reverse cargo-cult, basically "ooga-booga the white man is also eating people, they are just sneaky and hide it better" - yes, that's how russians really think. And them being able to corrupt western political systems for decades shows that it's at least somewhat true.
>>
>>65548147
The underlying issue is that back in the NATO had a clear idea: everyone is scared of USSR going to annex Europe, so collective defense is the only option to survive, and US provides the backing of a super-power, who'd lead any and all military endeavors. Post-1991 this clear idea eroded to shit due to multiple reasons:
- "peace (more like piece of shit) dividend" causing locals armies to get underfunded into oblivion;
- delusional faggots across the isle all thinking "no communism == no danger" and "russia is now a normal country";
- US becoming more and more retarded with the special GWOT sandbox adventures, eroding trust into it and such;

Now add to this the slow corruption of western elites and political classes by russians: bribes given here, people inserted there, contracts given out to friends, etc. That's how you get super russia-friendly subhumans like Berlusconi and literal stasi-bitches like Merkel, while Schroder would end up working in Gazprom and such and Obama-the-nigger would run to do "reset of relations" after yet another ruslim subhuman chimpout.

So yeah, modern NATO is basically a combination of a brain-dead US and impotent Western Europe. Add to this the internal political issues caused by retarded politicians in Europe, to which the ruslims bring gasoline to stoke the flames, and you have an organization which has almost nothing in common to what it once was. I'm not sure how you'd be able to convince the German, French or even worse Italian and Spanish societies that they need to go and fight a war against russia should those ruslim faggots do an incursion into say Lithuania or such. The lack of a unified overwhelming military response would in itself be a death sentence to NATO as an organization. EU can't even do normal sanctions against russia (lookup how France and Luxemburg are removing sanctions, or how sanctions are basically cucked by design), how do you expect those countries to fight? "Why die for Riga" and all that.

>every Western European Nation is very aware that any ground given to R*ssia is just allowing the predator to get closer
This is actually the reverse point you're trying to make. Before 1991 the russian forces were staying in Germany, and the military block was on the borders of Greece and such, i.e. very deep into Europe. Now ruslim and ruslim aligned forces are barely in Belarus. This makes the people and politicians of Western Europe stop seeing the danger, since russia is "somewhere far away". People in Estonia might feel the danger, or people in Poland kinda might feel it (but still would prefer to jerk around their old quasi-imperialistic bullshit against Ukraine), but outside it? Nah. Retards in Greece, Spain, Italy think of russia and russians as "good tourists bringing money". Retards in Germany think "we had cheap natural gas from them" (because they were paying with your future security lmao). And so on.

the Europeans have zero capability to coordinate multi-divisional operations. this is the Bundeswehr trying to train for and practice something it hasn't done for decades, if ever: deploying a combat brigade a thousand miles away. just this alone will strain their army as it is. they're going to learn that the current Bundeswehr cannot do more than deploy one (1) brigade for an enduring operation, without leaving absolute barebones back home to respond to any other situation that might arise.

If they actually sent tank columns (what tanks?) towards a city then I'd hope someone would have the balls and skip all the ceremony.
>>
>>65551675
It doesn't matter because if Russian tank columns surge into the Balts the nukes will be flying, or will about to by flying.

The whole thing with 2014 is Russia discovered a new meta - military operations with plausible deniability. local forces (indigenous pop) supported by a handful of conventional soldiers, seizing land and generally fucking about.

Hence, the German deployment, and their entire NATO force posture is retarded. There will be no conventional invasion, because that means everyone dies. What there will be is some gay "5th Generation Warfare" shit, in which case light infantry and gendarmerie are more useful than big mechanized formations.

The best defense is to just totally disarm Russian psyops and tools of causing local discontent. Like, not banning Russian as a language (as some balts do) and having more populist government policies. We did this before in the post-war era, to stop the spread of communism, it works.

Also Russian language should be banned and all Russian should be extradited.
>>
>>65551793
Even if the Baltics bent over backwards to make their Russian speakers feel appreciated/respected/whatever I think that's besides the point because Ukraine shows Putin absolutely will use your Russian population for his aims, even if they don't want him to. It's a modern Sudetenland problem, and it risks being solved the way the Sudetenland ultimately was.

This is russian propaganda actually. "Local forces" couldn't even go to a protest, because they never actually existed, so the "protestors" had to be bussed in from russia. Literally all of the initial fighting was done by russian nationals with russian passports, both cadre military and regular bums hired by FSB in russia to act as cannon fodder. "Local forces" were constructed afterwards and were mostly used as occupation regime enforcers.
>>
>>65551948
The russian population is just a distracting propaganda talking point. Same as NATO expansion and other "color revolution" bullshit. It's just something for clueless westerners to discuss. It's never the real reason or issue, it's just a justification for imperial expansion.

>>

No because you're not fighting conventional forces. It's a mixture of riots, civil disobedience etc that slowly escalates into low level conflict. By the time you need tanks, it's too late, you're in a full scale conflict. You want inf (to secure key points) and militarized police (to police) to stop the process.

No their taxes are actually quite low, about 30-35% including pension and payroll withhelds. The problem is that their general level of productivity is also low because they arent very mechanized and their general level of industry supporting infrastructure is poor. It also does not help that corruption is widespread at all levels in former soviet union shitholes.

>>
>>65552391
>No their taxes are actually quite low, about 30-35% including pension and payroll withhelds.
It's not as simple. The minimum amount is actually around 43%. 13% is what a poor person in russia sees as "income tax", while the rest (30% more) is paid by the business. It's actually even more if you take all the bits and pieces into account. It grows even more since if you make slightly more than $2,000 per month your 13% rate switches to a higher rate, e.g. to 15%, then 18% and so on. "Pension withhelds" are actually a meme, since they all go to finance pensions of other people and your personal account isn't filled since 2014 lmao (there was the great pension robbery done to cover the Crimea and Donbas sanctions), so most people will receive pennies even if they paid out a fuck ton of money to the government from their income.

Now the person gets their money after taxes and gets raped by taxes on everything more. None of your fancy 0-10% sales tax, nah, everyone is raped by 22% vat on all purchases. But that's not all. A fuck ton of other payments and duties, which are "totally not taxes" btw, rape the person's income at every step. So that yeah, while technically that anon is incorrect about 80%, it does create a system where "people are the new oil".

>If the Baltic sea is declared closed to shipping,

The EU cant close the Baltic Sea to Russia because that is a blockade, and a blockade is an act of war. This noise about a war with Russia real soon is the Brits trying to drag America into bombing Russia via article 5 in order to save themselves from having to pay up for the Ukie bonds they guaranteed. In order to do that the Brits would have to sacrifice some small shitholes on the borders of NATO which would cost the _Brits_ nothing. This would basically be blackmailing America into war, because if America declines because its an obvious case of Gulf of Tonkin redux, nobody would trust American security guarantees any more, and Taiwan joins China next year.

In case you dont know why the Brits are doing this, check the bond market. They are in economically dire straits with their bond sales going poorly and yields climbing fast. With a government debt to GNP ratio close to 100% they are fucked once they have to start to roll over their old short term debt at about >7% which would push them into a debt implosion spiral. France, Germany, Italy etc have similar debt levels but the Brits have a serious currency account deficit which makes it worse for them.

>"Pension withhelds" are actually a meme, since they all go to finance pensions of other people

Thats how it works everywhere, including Europe, except America, because you dont have a public pension system. Russian tax collection capability is also very poor.

Russian taxes are very low if measured by North European standards. 13% tax? A low income worker here pays 30-34% on yearly income above $2500 (1 months of low pay wage) depending on where they live. Pension withheld is 32%. VAT is 25%. Fuel and energy taxes are >100%.
>>
>>65552498
>Thats how it works everywhere
Nah, you don't understand. In russia by law they would have two components of the pension system: the individual and the solidarity-based one, basically the first would have individual pension accounts which are per-person and the second is the common collective shit one. The money that gets taken away from people's income should get split and go into both, i.e. one parts increases your own personal pension savings and the other part finances the system overall, which would cover people who weren't able to accumulate their own pension savings (e.g. people who got hosed when USSR stole all their money and died) and such. People earning more and thus paying out more into the system would thus get more personal savings and receive more pension when they retire. On top of this the idea was that those pension savings would be able to become the basis for "long money" in the economy and such.

However, none of this actually works: after 2014 the state said "we're temporarily freezing the accumulation of money in personal pension accounts" and since then for 10+ years they're just burning the money withheld from people in the common shit pension fund, where most people get pennies (you think russian salaries are bad? look at their pensions lmao) even if they had big salaries and a fuck ton of taxes. And most normies aren't aware of this, since while this isn't a secret it's not really covered by the media, since the media is state controlled lol. So all of those retards are in for a rude awakening.

these days they can't sell you a fuckin' box of packets of cat food in the store, requiring every small baggie to be scanned in separately, because all transactions and products are tracked into oblivion through special qr codes, real-time online pos terminals even for cash transactions and so on and so forth
there's obviously ways to dodge this for special people, but typical businesses and regular people are monitored to shit, to the point that your getting a couple hundred rubles transfer to your credit card from a friend (e.g. compensating for a pizza) would get your credit card banned under the guise of "illegal business" and such
>>
>>65552540
>when the inflation also hits the roof
Bruh, it's already there. It's the normal state of things for russia and russians. Outside of a few years here and there real inflation would usually be around 10% per year or more. Year after year after year. The state cooks the books but it's so bad that even years ago the state would actively use internet censorship laws to ban website which tracked produce pricing over the years across the country based on user submissions. Because it's enough to dig up a store pamphlet or a cash register receipt from 2-5 years ago and the whole propaganda bullshit instantly falls apart.

Finland and Estonia could also scrap the deal that created an international water passage through Gulf of Finland, because by international laws the territorial water borders would touch.

>direct hostile actions performed by Russian ships
that is the perfideous part, none of these ships were 'Russian'
They were registered in some BRICS shithole, but were crewed by Russians, and ran Russian cargo of course. . .but *technically* they were not Russian.

As a moderate response we should temporarily close the Baltic to all Russian shipping.

>If the yanks were not run by a treasonous buffoon who refuses to take action, the world might be able to better prevent a Russian attack
In this alternate timeline, the US would be in a position to offer greater aid and perhaps limited involvement.
Whether US involvement would lead to better outcomes is unclear however, there's some evidence that they're able to screw things up nearly as badly as Russia does.

if the yuros were not run by treasonous buffoons and refuses to cease paying rapefugees a single euro from this day forth, there would be plenty of money available even to repair their previous mistake of underestimating the Russians and not investing adequately in defence for the last decade after Russia invaded the Donbas and Crimea

>In russia by law they would have two components of the pension system: the individual and the solidarity-based one, basically the first would have individual pension accounts which are per-person and the second is the common collective shit one.

So again its just like it is in Europe where we have similar systems. There was this 2017 whitepaper stating that immigration to Sweden has cut pensions in half compared to a zero immigration scenario because the way it is set up is similar to the Russian setup you have described.

>they've built a literal digital gulag specifically for taxation reasons,

They have nothing. Here in Sweden 99% of transactions are electronical, plenty of stores doesnt even accept cash, and the banks are penalizing those that do with deposit fees. Stores that take cash and electronic payment are also not allowed to ticket Visa/Mastercard users for the transaction fees that the store has to pay for using electronic payment.

Furthermore, Swedish banks refuse to accept cash from money exchangers abroad, meaning that you are denied exchange or have to exchange at a very poor exchange rate if you have Swedish cash because the money exchange man has to pay a lot to have Swedish shit money turned into a better currency. Russia doesnt have this system and Russians have no problems exchanging their own currency abroad because their tech level is shit tier.

This electronicization is also why Sweden cant tank any kind of damage from long range precision guided muntions. If the power goes out, its game over. Everything comes to a standstill. Same goes for the other Nordic countries. Even if you have cash, the stores will decline a purchase, because their inventory system is linked to their now offline electronic cash registers. If they sell for cash, they wont know what they have left in their inventory and the just in time auto purchase system wont work. I have seen it happen firsthand.

That's a jewish Visa/Mastercard demand actually

Delusional btw, the first ruslims do is jew each other on exchange rates when outside russia, hence any relatively sane russia buys USD or EUR inside russia before going abroad, like it's the 1990s.

Russia got the same shit years ago. Which now fucks them because they turn off mobile internet "to protect against drones" and all of those always-online digital gulag tracking systems instantly stop working lmao.

(cont) Furthermore, Swedish banks have automatic systems that flag suspicious transactions and punish the owners of the account by debanking them for 1 year and locking them out from BankId, an electronic id system that is run by the banks and not the government. It doesnt matter if they did anything illegal.

This is completely automated and cant be appealed and the bank has no obligation to tell you why it happened, but its actually so that their AI system did it and they cant explain why so they just shut up and pretend its secret.

Russians have nothing like this. Their infrastructure is so poor that they dont even have 5G wireless internet. They may be able to build a digital gulag in St Petersburg and Moscow, but outside of these cities, its impossible. They are like a kind of subartic steppe pajeet.

A Crimea scenario is not possible because there is no Russian military base in the Baltics. The little green men in Crimea came from the Russian naval base in Sevastopol.

Oh by the way, I better explain that this is basically unpersoning you for a year because you need bankID for a lot of things such as identifying yourself to government online web services or buy or sell anything online. Its completely legal because swedes are retarded toy people with an average mental age of 12, no matter how old they are. Little boys and little girls in adult bodies pretending to be real adults.

There seems to be a lot of anti-Swedish seething in this thread. I can't think why that would happen.
