With the proper scope rings and bipod the rifle is nearly complete, all I need to get now is an improved trigger and I'll have my dream poor man's PSG-1. >>65547204Well I guess it makes sense to mean low recoil in the way that the muzzle would remain relatively flat while firing as opposed to jumping up or jerking around. Still would be a bit weird. I think the second meaning has more recently evolved from compfags. Specifically their pistols as they want minimal muzzle rise, or in other words they want a pistol that shoots flat
I thought flat shooting was always in regards to the maximum point blank distance of a cartridge.243 Winchester shooters flatter than .308 Winchester for example
