This graph shows Hormuz transports down by half. The only thing is ship to ship exports, which are really expensive and take a long time. I think the Iranians are finer with them doing that because it will keep prices high.
That graph isn't the gotcha you think it is when cheap options have been replaced with much more expensive ones

Get a chart that isn't lying or misleading, MAGAtard. Or, you know, try stopping the Iranians from burning a tanker a day, because this shit ain't sustainable and it sure as shit ain't gonna get oil prices back down to ~ $70/barrel.
>>
>>65562566
Why is Trump forcing Europe to tap into their strategic oil reserves if Hormuz is open?
>>
>>65562752
Oh it's worse, the Iranians are also on average fucking up a VLCC a day right now, and the only "solution" anyone has is to try and throw more tankers into it in the hopes that Iran might run out of cheapo drones and missiles before the global market runs out of tankers. Which has caused transport fees on those to skyrocket by like 2000%.
>>
>>65562783
>i dont like the information it tells me so its lying
The source is right there, and you should note that it doesn't include ships with AIS turned off.

>>

US is still providing key support through infrastructure like Starlink that the Euros cant cause they still prefer bickering with each other even when the orange retard is giving them every reason to cooperate, which is why FCAS fell apart and why Tempest is risking not having enough funding. The fact is that you're still reliant on the absolute worst administration possible to fill shortfalls that you are unwilling or unable.
>>65565133
>randomly bringing up Iraq for no reason

>>

>>65565178
Yep, and the ones that they're still reliant on today. Maybe if yours ever gets off the ground you can offer it to them without any stipulation on how its used. Oh wait, Germany also still handcuffs Ukraine by refusing to sell them Taurus even though France and the UK have been supplying Storm Shadow for a while. So that's probably never going to happen either.

Isn't it telling how I don't try to refute the US' shortcomings but every time I bring up one of yours, it's just a constant stream of deflection and denial as you plug your ears and go "la la la I can't hear you, what about America"?

the Europeans have done more for the US than they where obliged to do for the US.
other non-European allies did far, far less for them. but the US doesn't even bother trying to get more out of them because it knows there simply isn't any capacity there.
Japan, South Korean and the Philippines refuse to go aboard.
Australia is willing but has shafted it's defense spending harder that Europe.
New Zealand might as well be new Iraland for how fucking helpless it is.
Isreal has been spying on and stealing tech from the US, repeatedly. and has sold US tech to the Chinks. they also do fuck all to help US commitments and require frequent US aid. had fro instance the US not been helping them cover Israel against attacks during the opening stages of the Iran war those assets thus freed up would have gone a long way to keeping other US assets in the region safe.
when the French did op Serval that had the durkas squared away in less than a month and all people bitched about was how they needed logistical support.
mean while the US's arab allies the Saudis first and foremost have failed to deal with the Houtis for more than a fucking decade despite several direct US involvements. the only bitch about that fuck up you'll hear for the US is that Europe has to do more. not that perhaps if the Saudis have a defense budget that's larger than France's perhaps they should be able to do what France has done.
Also Iran is right next to them and they've done fuck all to deal with or contain Iran. heck Iraq was practically being run from Tehran.

If Europeans are bad allies to america then americans are basically adversaries to Europe.
Muh 2% didn't matter until 2022 when euros had to go to the ME with america. And america didn't even get anything done there except produce a refugee crisis and breed terrorism.

Allying ourselves with America was a good idea in 1945 but it's time to kick them out. We have better tech, a better industrial base and better standards. We don't need Americans. Canada can come along and be our FOB in case Americans start shit against us.

Complaints about Europe not prioritizing its own defense go back to the fucking Eisenhower administration. America was also tolerant of obviously unequal trade agreements since the immediate post war period as well. None of any of this is new besides. The fact that europeans were so caught off guard and so despondent about the situation really goes to show how poorly they understood the transatlantic relationship.

>Since Trump returned to office in January 2025, there has been no legislation or other authorizations of significant new aid to Ukraine. However, a substantial amount of the aid appropriated under the Biden administration is still in the pipeline, and deliveries of aid packages have continued, although on two occasions the Trump administration temporarily paused some deliveries.

I suspect they'll be able to keep people from starving in the streets; some of Iran's other exports are food staples like onions (which were reportedly having a hard time leaving the country, but idk if that's changed) so I'd be surprised if things ever got so bad they had a real famine unless someone started fucking with their water.

Other shit that they don't produce at home is going to be a larger issue. Supposedly the inflation last month on certain consumer medicines had hit 500% and that certainly isn't sustainable. I have no idea what sort of stockpile they might have for goods like that.
