I love the iwi galil ace but im on the fence about the iwi tavor. Is it cool or is it just a bullpup gimmick?

I had it for years and still regret selling it. Excellent rifle. I loved ergonomics, weight, it was accurate, never jammed. Looks cool as shit. I had that version before 95. I can’t vouch for 95 I never handled one. Very neat rifle. I don’t know what the downsides are.
>>
>>65562555
When it first came out, the people buying it were complaining about a 6 MOA. I wonder if they've been fixed.
>>
>>65562578
Cool. Why did you sell it?
>>
Israel's small arms are stupid.
>>
>>65562555
It's extremely cool. How is this even a question?
>>
>>65562639
It would be funny if you dueled somebody with each of you getting your own choice of weapon and your opponent pumped 10 galil ace rounds into your fat ass before you even realized your faggot ar was jammed from the start.

If somebody offered me a 10,000$ AR or a 2000$ galil ace i would choose the galil every fucking time.

Israel uses M4s and carbine-cut M16s as primary rifles and still purchase them in huge batches.
IDF in 2025 selected the Ari Arms OR-4, an M4 derivative, as their locally produced standard infantry issue rifle

Had the first model. Like this anon said >>65562578
It was accurate and reliable. Handled better than you would expect too. But the thing was so damn awkward to clean and the shorter OAL while retaining a longer barrel didn't mean much to me. I'd always end up shooting any AR over the Tavor.

If you're going to get one go full meme and get the 9MM version. No idea if those are even made now

>your opponent pumped 10 galil ace rounds into your fat ass before you even realized your faggot ar was jammed from the start.
This guy doesn't know they stopped making the Galil Ace to start making ARs and that they've dumped all their Tavors to reserve units to give their active duty guys some more ARs.

you must not have shot it very much. the first commercial offering was the Tavor SAR. i have one still and while it does handle very well, it also fumigates you very well when firing. there is 'gassed by jews' joke in that somewhere. the stock trigger was shit and i have since replaced with an aftermarket trigger pack and the 'lightning bow' trigger. the built in stock flip sights are shit, mine came with a Meprolight M21, which was mostly crap due to washout. with regard to accuracy, average for a bullpup so equate it with a sloppy AR. probably closer to 3-4 MOA. 6 seems unfair. No broken parts though, so there's that. i've done some work on it so i won't sell it but after the first few years, it comes out maybe once a year now. 55gr or 77gr, grouping resulted about the same just POI shifts

it's ok, but it has issues. It's heavy despite being mostly plastic. The trigger is mushy, but can be fixed for $100. The rail system is outdated and should be MLOK instead of pic rail with built in covers.

>>65562593
mine has been under 3 MOA, but i'm just shooting a dot. I did remove the rubber thing around the barrel that is supposed to help let the barrel float.
>>
>>65562578
Favor fucking sucks. My uncle has one which I shot a while ago. Whose great idea was it to put a metal screw on the handguard?

Would you like an ar for 3x the price go- I mean guy…?
>>
>>65563997
ye the m21 is kinda bad
t. idf
>>65563153
mostly because it's cheaper
>>
>>65564055
there's a bolt inside the pistol grip. What screw are you talking about?

>>65563512
the X95 is easier to clean, you just push out one pin, the buttstock swings out of the way and you can pull the BCG. The 9mm was discontinued.

Idk I like mine. It's a jewgun but alas.
>>
>>65564134
Idk why but i just hate the forend of the x95 and T7
>>
>>65564164
Understandable I put a VFG on mine eventually.
>>
>>65562555
Definitely both
>>
>>65562555
just get a hellion instead
>>
>>65562656
Shut up, jew
>>
>>65564239
The vhs2 is pretty cool. I want another bullpup but I think I'd go aug over the x95.
>>
>>65564263
The 18" and 20" Hellions (20" being the Croatian military pattern) are on sale for 1300 everywhere because no one wants 'em for some reason. A lot cheaper than an AUG.
>>
>>65564278
Yeah I have the 18''. It's fun as hell (lol).
>>
>>65564285
I've got a 16" and I love it. Really shitty trigger though
>>
>>65564288
Pretty much. I heard there are some upgrades for it but I'm going to stick with stock.

>mine has been under 3 MOA
Cool, so they've been fixed.
>i'm just shooting a dot.
It's kind of funny to live in a world where a ton of people are putting LPVOs on their 5.56 guns but people running .308 guns are just happily using dots.
>>
>>65562656
>jew choosing the cheaper gun
oy vey
>>
>>65564061
>Buying guns secondhand is impossible
>>
>>65564278
How is the Hellion? I've always been intrigued by the idea of a rifle that's SBRish in total size but has a full length barrel but don't like the aesthetics of most bullpups on the market..
>>
>>65562555
Israelis gave up and replaced it with the AR, so it probably won't even exist in a few years.
