The magwell of the actual receiver needs to be brought in about 100thou and a notch needs to be cut in the front of the magwell for the front retaining hook to sit. Lads, am I getting meme'd on by wanting a chassis for my 308? I recently got a tikka ctr 308, and my plan was to trick it out with one of those MDT oryx chassis. However, I feel that for the money (~6-700$), it wont make any real difference for the shooting I do. Im only benchrest shooting at a range at the moment, so idk how it will help. Anyone got one of those chassis? Im thinking just to use that money for a brake and ammo
