Houthis recently released footage of FPV drone strikes against Saudi backed forces:

Damn. Not even a Mexican eith a square body can fit that many dudes in the bed.
>>
>>65566125
West and their allies surely lack effect drone counters and cant establish air superiority preventing Houthis from using tactical drones.
>>
should have nuked russia early in the war. now only 2 countries have mastered drone warfare and no one else has a counter

Looks like among poors, it's gonna be rusty AKs and plastic manhacks all the way down.
>>

See? It's not that difficult to do. There is zero excuses.
>>
>>65566125
Why do Houthi and Hezbollah FPV drones always look so clumsy in flight in comparison to Ukraine/Russian ones? I understand that those countries have formal drone pilot training programs but even earlier in that war when FPVs were experimental, they seemed a lot better guided
>>
>>65566125
why does it always end too soon?
>>
I don't think that the Houthis are the good guys necessarily but I can't help but find them kind of based. They've gone up against the US, Israel, and Saudi Arabia, and not only survived but are stronger than they were before. Not bad for a bunch of dune coons in sandals.
>>
>>65566249
So it seems.
So it seems.

Was the first one some kind of clown car or something?
>>

You post almost this exact same slop every in single Houthi thread. Nobody buys it. kys.
>>
>>65566292
Because there's a delay and the signal gets cut off when the drone has already hit the target. If you don't have a secondary drone observing the area you won't get cool footage. Say thank you to ukies for their stuff.
>>
>>65566125
was this before or after the footage of them getting run over?

They're literally the armed wing of a population group that's been massively discriminated against by the yemeni governments since before there even was a unified nation of Yemen. And the current conflict started effectively because the government murdered their leader for protesting against forced cultural assimilation policies aimed at them.

ukranians have no problem training their allies in everything they know. Its purely on the latter not sending official instructors in there years ago to learn the know how to bring back home. Only strictly volunteers have been going and recovering pieces of information. Even for front liners who are guaranteed to see war as long as monke lives (estonia, latvia, lithania, poland, finland)

but, as always, no official ego ever learns anything until they get a taste of it on their own skins. Only when disaster hit start heads rolling and boots are firmly planted up high ranking egos asses
>>
>>65566409
so why don't they declare their independence from Yemen? They got the hard part down, defending themselves, and its not like anybody in the region can do much about it
>>
>>65566427
The UK at least has had a formal presence in Ukraine. This came up in the news recently, as a service member died there in an explosion. They're not providing details, and in general the activities and size of the UK forces in Ukraine are not public information. But they've been there for years.

military attaches are standard procedure. Even ukraine sent its former supreme commander to the UK as a liaison during war time. That is not what is under question. What is needed is systematic rotation of senior instructor core through ukraine to absorb the lessons and implement them down the training doctrine. This has absolutely not been done in serious capacity across the allies as the multiple training exercises of standard NATO operating procedure vs ukraine OPFOR have shown.

I am not even talking about things hand wavers use to dismiss alarmists. like EW or air support that may or may not be used/simulated in drills, but basic common sense like dispersing and covering vehicles with nettings to protect from the most basic top down drone attacks. Or not cuddling around the armor when advancing as that attracts FPV drones like magnets and will swiftly knock out multiple bodies in a single hit. These things need to be drilled into the grunts as muscle memory since yesterday

there are documented cases where poolacks attack people in different countries just because they think these people are Ukrainians

Funny to me that ppl cite Sykes-Picot, Brits & Frogs carving the UMMAH into unworkable territorial units...
But now that these pretend-countries are often fracturing along truer lines, each resulting statelet is set to only fall further into irrelevance and disorder.

Well, if not irrelevance, then as the Somali pirates and Houthis (Ansar al-Allah) show, infamy and thus bombardment.

Even if you despise them with all your guts, you have to be impressed at their resilience and ability to hit back after a decade or so of constant fighting with different opponents. Afghanistan or any other 'insurgent' force could never do that, as do some governments
>>
>>65567349
Zelensky is kind of a rat that only blew up in popularity thanks to an extremely well manged PR campaign that was no doubt handled directly by NATO intelligence, before that he was floundering because of the failure of his dumbass policies and he may or may not have directly ordered Ukrainian forces not to prepare for the feb 2022 invasion because he didn't want to provoke russia, after the war, he was nothing short of an idol all the way till mid 2025 when the first big corruption scandal blew up and he became at odds with very popular generals. He paid the favor back by getting really obnoxiously involved in western politics and using the heroic leader persona to lend some of his credibility to other leaders and trump doesn't easily let go of things like that, symbolically he found it more important to show his base that he could in fact sit the little funny eastern european man down and berate him and show he's the big boss and America isn't beholden to other countries(that aren't Israel) than to reach out to ingratiate his self-declared renegade movement to the world

now both trump and zelensky seem to get along just fine and coincidentally both are in the absolute shit with a string of misteps and bad decisions weighting them down and killing the goodwill they started off with.
>>
>>65567690
What has Zelensky fucked up since the war started?
The 2023 offensive was a mess but he was pressured into it by countries donating arms that wanted to see Ukraine advancing with them as marketing.
He fired a good an popular general but only because he wanted to launch an all or nothing offensive that could go extremely bad, no more Ukraine bad.

Before the war asking Azov to disarm was fucking retarded and in hindsight he should have better prepared for the invasion but believed it was just chest thumbing.
>>
>>65567762
He got caught giving kickbacks to close associates over energy grid security and maintenance contracts last year and in may this year he got caught with the Midas network giving fraudulent contracts to security firms his friends were also tied to. His public perception in Ukraine has massively worsened over that.
>>
>>65567690
>that was no doubt handled directly by NATO intelligence
No it wasn't, lol. He had a popularity boost because of his early actions in the war, that being not being a coward. He then coasted on this. No astroturfing was required, people jacked him off for free.
>>
>>65567799

Is religious fundamentalist hillbilly militia the new meta? Back in the day your average cultish mountain clan would end up killing its most forward-thinking members before they could achieve any advances for the group to benefit from, but now they can home-grow a missile program with a Claude subscription and their smarter members can safely use the math and science the rest of the world pioneered without getting stoned to death. It combines rugged, warrior-ethos and casualty-tolerance with affordable mid-tech native development. Sure, right now you can get better results from being backed by a traditional super-power (e.g. Ukraine's missile program), but if you're going to be a pariah state anyway, this seems like the best path. I don't mean to downplay Iran just giving a bunch of hillbilly extremists missiles and telling them to go play as a major part of their success, but the Houthis are really breaking new group in what it means to be the underdog in the 21st century.
>>
>>65567810
There’s another thread with video of Saudi boys literally running Houthis over with an mrap as they try to surrender, so I don’t think it’s clear who’s winning this operation yet.
>>

They own most of the populated areas in Yemen, though with the refugee shit it's hard to tell exactly how much. They're not random rural militia.

>PR campaign that was no doubt handled directly by NATO intelligence

lmao even
Biden and Macron both offered to get him out of Kyiv the moment the war started. His popularity came from not running away. Which was a huge contrast to the Afghan nigger who ran from the Taliban in a plane full of cash not even a year prior. Russians and their sock puppets were already trying to create parallels between Saigon, Kabul and Kyiv from day 1 on. Granted it blew up hilariously in their face like almost everything they wrote in 2022.

Yeah yeah Schlomo we know you're butthurt because Israel can't do shit about them, no need to seethe about it so openly.
>>
>>65567050

Any supposed Israeli accomplishment has to be contextualized by the massive amount of foreign aid they receive and babysitting from the United States. They haven't invented anything that wasn't invented by someone else first. Ukraine completely reinvented drone warfare at the platoon level under wartime conditions and mastered the art of aerial interceptors, and the decentralized manufacturing required to churn out millions of them. Iran revolutionized spammable kamikaze drones, and this with its economy under sanctions. Israel did neither of these things. I think what you meant to say is that the United States created the foundation of drone warfare, which Israel inherited. But kind of hard to say that Israel invented anything that wasn't just given to them by the US.

US aid to Israel amounts to a fraction of their defense budget and the dogshit glorified prop-driven cruise missiles being passed as "drones" Iran uses is, hilariously, an inferior copy of an Israeli drone that was apparently never invented so you think (IAI Harpy)

And what was the operational status of those? Were they ever mass-produced or delivered to anyone?
If I were to begin working on a brilliant new invention, encounter difficulty, sell the patents to someone else who solved the issues and made a complete product, would I be able to claim it as mine?
>>
>>65568617
They never sold any patents or encountered any issues though. The Iranians just copied them and made more because it was the only thing they could afford to make at scale. Western militaries had no need for them because aerial bombardment with dumb bombs is still better and cheaper. Since Iran had no aircraft, this wasn't an option for them so they made them into nigger rigged cruise missiles since making real cruise missiles at scale was off the table.
>>
>>65568717
There is literally zero indication that the 136 has anything in common with the Harpy other than shape.
