Mosin-Nagant ObrezI live in the US but I want this as my everyday carry.
>>65566453silly
>>65566453If I was able to buy guns 20 years ago, I would've bought a spare and obrezed it. Now that it's $400 for the most basic of mosins, it would feel wrong to do it now. You might be able to get away with it with a Carcano, they're still pretty cheap. Bonus if you find one that's been otherwise fucked with.
unless you find a fucked up and broken mosin, dont do it. leave mosins intact for people still trying to find mosins. That said, go crazy turning any modern hunting rifle into an obrez. obrez is any bolt action you cut down to "pistol" size, so hunting rifles count too
>>65566617The implication is itโs an actual classic wwii era Obrez not just a gun I buy and chop up.
>>65566453Utinni!
>>65566634well in that case, good luck finding one. if you do ever end up using it, the police will 100% confiscate it from you even if youre justified and it will get "lost" in the evidence room because one of them took it home
>>65566726Then Iโll report them to the ATF for stealing an NFA item.
>>65566875They're more likely to arrest you first for not filing an ATF Form 4 item
>>65566453there's a levernugget for sale near me and I think I'm gonna obrez it. Poor thing is sporterized so I might as well. Not like I'm going to find a spare Russian 1895 stock lying around.
>>65566899Form 1 if OP does it himself, no guns.
>>65566634you think one of those is smarter?
