I dont have a safe i just store my guns loaded in the open and if every room is covered then the rest just stay in their manufacturer box or if that box is shoddy cardboard shit i buy a cheap plastic case with foam inserts and keep it there

Based and literally the only way to actually be prepared. If a gun is in a safe it's useless, and if it's not loaded with one in the chamber it's just an expensive shitty club.

My dad kept guns loaded in his nightstand and under the bed the whole time I grew up. He only had a small lock box for one handgun. But he taught my brother and I basic gun safety. So even when we’d snoop around his stuff when he was at work, we weren’t retarded and knew how to handle guns. You only need a safe if you are retarded enough to allow friends and family with sticky fingers in your home.

I keep my guns in my attic, in my drawer, in my closet, under my bed, on my bed, in my glovebox, and in my trunk.

Because I'm really going to need my skeet gun or my SAA in a crisis

The lifetime risk of experiencing a burglary is about 50%. The lifetime risk of experiencing a violent home invasion is less than 4% (and in most of those cases the victim knows the offender so I'm guessing if you're not a junkie or a nigger it'd be <1%). Keep your guns lying around if you're lazy and can't be bothered securing them but don't pretend that it's the sensible decision.

Loaded but not chambered, maybe i should keep them chambered now i always figured it takes like half a second to do but add stress and shit and more than 0 chance of fumbling and it gets worse

Kek in my country you're obligated to keep long guns in a safe because cops are incompetent and don't wanna track them down if they get stolen, and they need to be locked in case if you have kids of course for obvious reasons. But for some reason this doesn't apply to pistols lmao so just put it anywhere

These dorks really think burglars will break into people's houses in the middle of the night like in the movies and not in the middle of the day when everyone's away for work lol
