it took longer than it should, but the US is gearing up for modern drone warfare. ironically the GWOT fucked up US drone design and thinking. it prioritized large, expensive, and precise drones. it took ukraine and iran for the US to realize that small, cheap, and "close enough" is the way to go. The US very recently announced the creation of Autonomous Warfare Command (AutoWarCom) to accelerate drone acquisition, development and deployment. If you were smart like me, youd have bought stock in the drone companies that went public right before that announcement, especially the one Trumps son is involved with.
