>if you cannot get the bolt closed on an AR due to any number of reasons such as an incompatible round in the chamber or a foreign object jamming the carrier you cannot even disassemble the gun to more easily access the problem area
>you are left trying to pry the foreign object out through the tiny one finger wide ejection port with a screwdriver or something
>the barrel extension/locking lugs provide even more obstruction to trying to access the chamber area
>compared to an AK where you can remove the dust cover and BCG in five seconds and get in there with large pliers or just your meaty fingers
Excellent military rifle you've got there guys.
Lmao how can you design this kind of bullshit post-Garand?

>such as an incompatible round in the chamber or a foreign object jamming the carrier
seems like this could be easily avoided by not using random rounds you picked up off the ground, and not letting random shit enter your upper receiver.

>malfunction can be avoided by just not inducing the malfunction
Why hasn't anyone thought of this?

Your parents should have strangled you in the crib when they had the opportunity

So if a case is stuck real good in there you can pull the bolt back and either use a cartridge, knife, pliers or something to lever it out or just jam a cleaning rod down there if it's that bad. How is that different from any other gun? If you have to pop open your dust cover to clear a jam in an AK then your gun is just as down as an AR would be. If a cartridge isn't going in try racking it out instead of mashing the charging handle/jam enhancer button until you have a real problem, that applies to every rifle.

Did you not finish watching the video?

This is why we should've went with pic rel's design instead of the two takedown pins with the front acting as a hinge. Gun jammed up with the bolt out of battery? Just undo one pin and the upper just gets pulled straight forward and off of the lower since theyre dovetailed together

You can literally see the whole base of the case in an AK whereas it's really deeeep in there behind the locking lugs, inside the receiver, past the narrow ejection port.

Not him but you're asking complete strangers to care about something as much as you do

I assume I replied to OP, who posted a screenshot from said video.

Azov guy from UA literally says what >>65583479 said. "Keep your ammo separate"

In other words - OP is a fag
>>
>>65583877
Yeah, not really interested in that.

>"Keep your ammo separate"
Something you have to worry about a lot more knowing that if you happen to sow the wrong seed into your chamber your AR is almost totally fucked.
If a similar scenario were to befall an AK you would just pop the dust cover and wrench the stuck case out with a pocket knife.
>>
>>65583471
yeah at least with the AK you can dust cover off and un fuck it.
The AR is a real piece of shit.

The caveat is that an AR has less openings and is a more 'sealed' design, and is meant to prevent foreign objects from permeating the reciever, it also has a dust cover to give more protection. AKs are looser and are designed to be more tolerant to foreign particles and shit entering the reciever.

Neither is meant to be literally dragged through mud and sand and still flawlessly operate. Both will put up with alot, but it is dependent on what and how much. TLDR, different designs with different ideas of maintenance requirements and use, e.g one is meant for retard tier mass conscription and the other is a more 'precise' instrument, they both run better under different circumstances, but one generally will run better overall (take a guess which one).
>>
Buncha faggots in this thread don't even know how to mortar an AR. That will clear pretty much any bad chambering short of round over bolt which even then can be cleared without weapon disassembly.
>>
>>65584613
>Something you have to worry about a lot
you don't if you're not a complete retard

meanwhile you don't have to worry about using an obsolete piece of shit that is the ak when not using it, which is a massive advantage.
>>
>>65583471
Try a paint can opener. The old metal kind with a bottle opener on one end to remove stuck rounds.
>>
>round won't chamber
Beat on the forward assist.
>oh shit that shouldn't have gone in there and now it's fucked
Mortar that shit.

As opposed to the AK
>round won't chamber
Beat on charging handle.
>oh shit that shouldn't have gone in there and now it's fucked
Beat on charging handle, other direction. I mean, technically it's a bit simpler, but neither of these are rocket science.
