I just got my first 92fs the other day and earlier I field stripped it to clean the factory oil and apply my own.
This is a new gun and by every metric it seems so but this caught my attention when I was looking at the inside.

I found this on the inside of the slide on the surface the hammer rides against. If I rub my finger across it, I can just barely feel it. If I use a fingernail it catches.

Is this something to worry about? Can it get worse?

Not a big deal, it'll wear in with time and rounds, keep it oiled.

Seems to be a spot where the finish wasn't properly applied on it. It'll wear in more evenly with usage.
