Buy the 577 Snider dies, they're a weird size that wont fit standard presses. Grease the outside of a shell to be resized with case lube, then stick a 5/16 hex socket into the case facing down. Stick the case with hex socket still inside into the resizing die, then compress both in a bench vise until barely any case rim is sticking out. Then remove the die from the vise, place it back in the vise vertically with case pointing down, place a extension bit through the die and lock it into the hex socket inside the case. Take a hammer and smack the extension hard, case will come out of the die now propetly sized. Check it in the chamber of your Snider to made sure it fits fully, resize more if not. Then take a piece of aluminum sheet half the size of a credit card and place it over the case mouth, put a large pistol (not rifle) primer over the primer pocket. Put the stack into the bench vise and gently compress until the primer is flush with cartridge base. Aluminum sheet protects case mouth from deformation. Then measure 70 grains of 2f, 1-1/2f, or 1f black powder (whatever you can find, not pyrodex), and pour it into the case. Use a dowel to place a 20gauge nitro card over the powder, then two 20gauge felt wads. Next, oil the outside of the case using a cleaning patch dipped in neatfoot or other oil.

Also when inserted in the magwell the adapter tends to have a lot of play, which can throw off the feeding trajectory of the magazine.
