It's just old and kinda crusty. Like there are so many objectively better handguns in the current year.

It just feels good tho

This is such a low IQ opinion of Glocks that I hear all constantly from gun store mouthbreathers and newgunz. They're extremely reliable. They're more than accurate enough for what they're used for. Proven aftermarket parts are everywhere. Mags are everywhere and don't cost 40+ dollars. Handguns aren't rocket science and Glock was the first manufacturer to actually admit that to themselves and strip all the retarded shit from them.
>>
>>65594551
>theyre good 'nuff and cheap
So they dont do nothin all that great
>>
>>65594634
Not anon but they excel at everything a handgun should excel at. They go bang under every condition you can throw at it. It has light as fuck recoil and it's accurate. What else do you want?
>>
>>65594644
>they excel by being good 'nuff, what more do ya want?

This is what Glock does exceptionally well. Except technically that isn't Glock doing it and people that overdress pistols are absolute retards.

I was never a Glock fanatic but I do own five of them (19, 21, 30, 42, and 44). In my opinion Glock’s selling point was always the fact that they made basically the same gun in pretty much any size and caliber you could possibly want that used the same magazines, same parts, same aftermarket, same holsters, etc. Now with their focus on slimline models, discontinuation of most of their product line, and the whole V-series and Gen 6 split I feel like Glock is losing its identity.

UMP45. I don’t care if it sucks in real life and in every videogame that isn’t COD MW2. I think she’s fucking sexy

Maybe. Most polymer guns today though feel the same
RE: submachine guns broadly, since WWII they've been the most rudimentary of small arms even more than handguns. So, UMP as a polymer-frame submachine gun continues that. Gets the job done crudely, effectively

Toss up between my Beretta M9A3 and my Zenith MKE MP5 clone. I have way more money into parts for the MP5 clone so I guess it wins out overall. Its stupid quiet with subsonics and the FRT is just aces in the fun category.

It is; and new to me at least, I picked it up used. I was worried about QC enough from the factory that I figured I’d get one someone had worked over a little potentially, I didn’t notice any issues on inspection in the shop.

Went to check the chickens after getting home from work.
One of my birds had a broken back.
Had lcp 380 in my pocket to carried it out to the field to put it down before burying it.
Pointed the gun, click. Removed mag, removed round, the primer was clearly hit. Figured it was a light primer strike (even though it looked pretty strong for a light primer stirke). Reloaded, pointed, click.
Removed round, very clear second primer strike. Tossed round, rest of mag fired clean.
Now, one off isn't a massive deal per se and I've never had issue with Hornady before. But all I could think about was trying to rack a slide to clear a bad round while getting jumped by a tweaker at physical contact distance.
It's a lot easier to just pull the trigger again and go to the next round. Especially if you practice shooting multiple rounds back to back
