https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J0B87ogGnmEIn this video Massad Ayoob talks about some cases. One involved a man's wife killing herself, and the attorneys charged the husband with murder. The other was about an officer who was tried in court just because he used 9mm +P handloads even though the detectives arresting him used .357 Magnum.

>>65598891That is...... incorrect :). Man this week was awesome!
Uh huh.And what details is King Fudd leaving out that makes it obvious it’s not about handloads?Would your average cop or lawyer even be able to tell the difference between factory loads and Bubba’s Pissin’ Hot Hand Loads if it’s not written on the box?
>>65599431>Would your average cop or lawyer even be able to tell the difference between factory loads and Bubba’s Pissin’ Hot Hand Loads if it’s not written on the box?Watch the video; apparently forensic scientists can do just that. Afterwards, it's just another thing asshole lawyers will try to use to manipulate a jury. Out of the multiple cases he brought up, the one to stick out to me was New Jersey v. Daniel Bias (1989), where the man did get convicted for his handloads. The man had made a low-recoil cat-sneeze .38 SPL loads for his wife, and she committed suicide with them. The prosecution claimed that since there was less gunshot residue on her corpse than normal, that it was him who murdered her. Interestingly enough, even though the DA fully went after Daniel, the police were on his side due to the fact that this wasn't her first suicide attempt.

>>65598891we know>“Machine-gun conversion devices have no legitimate use in our society and put our residents at much greater risk of falling victim to gun violence," said AG Ford. "I am relieved that Nevada will be spared from this illegal influx of devices designed only to kill. However, I am still concerned that distributing these items across other areas of the country will cause them to appear in the Silver State. I will continue to fight this action for the safety of Nevadans and the rest of our great country, which has seen far too much gun violence." https://ag.nv.gov/News/PR/2025/Attorney_General_Ford_Blocks_Returns_and_Sales_of_Machine_Gun_Conversion_Devices_in_Nevada/i hope this faggot gets raped in the midterms

>>65598891>>65600581>>65600592>OP : 'most attorneys'What OP intends to say is most *prosecutors* in United States local jurisdictions (and also some judges) are anti-gun. DAs are bought by Soros, who is anti-gun : there is a *globalist* exterior-funded-outside-of-U.S. lobby to get rid of the 2nd Amendment, inside of this country. The legal establishment across the United States, is indoctrinated from law school to ignore or demean the 2nd Amendment. This is systemic.Plenty of excellent defense attorneys (who have educated and strengthened themselves since they went to law school), judges, and even rare prosecutors advocate for the 2nd Amendment
>>65600258>Most law schools are populated by the far left and they gatekeep.Unfortunately, this is true; every right-wing lawyer I know was forced into banking law.>>65600289You're right.>>65600454The guy from his wife's suicide was convicted. He spent 6 years in jail for reckless manslaughter. The officer who used +P was found not guilty but lost his job anyway.>>65600846He also gave 4 cases to back up his point. I may disagree with him on the engineering aspects of firearms, but he has me beat on the legal side of firearms.
>>65600581>>65600872All prosecutors are licensed attorneys for the government; every representative in a courtroom (whether for the defendant or for the state) is a licensed attorney.
>>65600289That article seems like it's conflating frts with Glock switches
Using hollow points means they tell the jury you used cop killer bullets that would be a war crime if used by the military. Using FMJs means they will tell the jury you used military style ammo. You can't win, they will tell the jury whatever it is they think will get them the desired result.
>>65601501NTA. The article isn't doing that; Nevada Attorney General Aaron D. Ford is intentionally conflating the two.
>>65598891>more divide and conquer American politics spamSo what got the pidors riled up this time? Did there more strikes on vatnik energy infrastructure?
>>65601652That's what I meant, can they really argue that in court considering the Glock switch actually does convert the gun to the legal definition of machine gun where he frt does not? And on top of that the switches already are and always have been illegal.
>>65598891>Massad AyoobI really can't stand this old faggot.
>>65601736His takes on firearm design are retarded...>"If you pull the trigger on an empty slide, you will damage the gun in multiple ways.">"All guns should have an 8-12 pound trigger pull."... but he's quite knowledgeable on court cases of the past.
OP just lost a traffic ticket trial and is venting.
>>65601478> The guy from his wife's suicide was convicted. He spent 6 years in jail for reckless manslaughter. Not a full conviction and probably one out of many that weren’t and also most likely the judges ,prosecutors and DA’s where corrupt and probably convicted other people on other bullshit
>>65601481Yeah, no shit. What's your point?
>>65601901>Not a full convictionNo, but he spent 6 years in prison and lost his gun rights forever on solely the fact that his "cat sneeze" rounds produce less gunshot residue.>prosecutors and DA’s where corruptTrue, the prosecution was very corrupt, but that's irrelevant. The prosecution refused to test the handloads they had confiscated from him during the first trial. When they tried him a second time (manslaughter rather than murder) they tested handloads he had made two years later in order to deceive the jury. That doesn't change the fact that the entire case rested on the prosecution's claim that low GSR meant that she was shot from farther away, and they convinced the jury.
>>65601909Are you illiterate? The other guy was saying I'm "ESL" for using the wrong term when I, in fact, used the correct term. The point is we should go back to discussing weapons.
>>65601920>solely the fact that his "cat sneeze" rounds produce less gunshot residue.Actually it was bevause a jury found him guilty beyind a reasonable doubt, but I would love to hear more from a guy without a JD about the legal system so do go on.
>>65601901>>65601991>it was bevause a jury>prosecutors and DA’s where corruptIf you are trying to make an appeal to authority, learn how to spell; nobody here will be convinced that you know more about the legal system than them when you can't even spell. We are discussing the points made by a man who was a former police officer, firearms instructor, multiple-time expert witness, and prosecutor. BTW, if juries were perfect, there would be way fewer retrials.
