UK probably doesnt have the navy or airforce to stop spain and argentina from landing forces in Ireland. irelands aprimary action is giving spain-argentina a safe staging ground for ground forces in the uk. after that they can just build up troops til they can overrun the uk forces.

Well as they say, passed a certain point you can hold so much debt that it becomes the bank's problem.1. London restricts access to Irish finance and the UK stops providing defense and security. Instant capitulation. Mostly because nobody wants to touch NI.2. Spain could militarily take Gibraltar. The rock becomes indefensible once you have artillery to hit the airport and harbour even if Britain had a supply route. Of course if the Gibraltarians are playing then it's going to be an absolute bloodbath on those streets.3. Argentina can't threaten the Falklands and I wish everyone understood this. It's now too well defended against an Argentina that has had bigger budget problems to deal with. It would be cool watching Spain vs the UK at sea but any help Spain sends to Argentina will be sunk in the Atlantic. It's just interesting because it'll be old harriers getting shot down.
