>First wave: Old people, ethnic minorities, convicts. Human Waves of soldiers from the poorest parts of Russia with barely any training. The worst

>Second wave: Lots of Mercenaries and average motor-rifle units. Foreigners like North Koreans, etc.

>Third wave: Special forces and their most capable units (VDV, Spetnsz KSSO GRU)

Is this accurate or just pure COPE?

we see the opposite in the ukraine war

You retard, they sent the VDV to die early doors.
Russia's doctrine is just to send meatwaves to die in poorly organised deployments.

Chechnyans are African tier I thought their only purpose was getting killed in wars
>>
Russia kept the soviet doctorine of a conscript heavy force but today lacks the political will for a forced mobilization leading to a much smaller force of desperate poor hoping to get a life changing paycheck.
If they had stuck with mass mobilization the plan is send the conscripts in and anywhere they breakthrough you send the professional forces.
We did see this in the first year of the war but after the 2023 counteroffensive a lot of professional units that had pushed ahead were cut off and killed so Russia has been less willing to use them to exploit gaps since instead sending more meatwaves.
>>
>>65603296
Not directly. Their feared reputation among ziggers makes them effective as blocking troops though.
>>
>>65603304
Chechnyans have defeated Russia once and imposed a pyrrhic victory once, Putin fears sending too many of them to their death incase they get upset enough to civil war about it.

Chechnyans are a higher caste than regular russians, they get to sit in the back acting as barrier troops and shooting 'badass' tiktok videos.

The problem is Russian lacks the logistics to handle larger forces, look how badly they fucked up the initial thunderrun to the Ukrainian capital, lines of armoured vehicles sitting without any fuel left.

That's kinda how they've operated in Ukraine for 4 years now.
Recon by meat. The most disposable Z-storm trash goes first, followed by slightly more valuable assets.
But the latter waves aren't elite special units, they're just normal soldiers with proper equipment.
>>
Honest question: just how long can Russia keep up the meatwaves? Ukraine has barely had to tap into their manpower, they’re putting in like 15% effort and latest estimates have them at 100,000 casualties while Russian casualties are at least 2 million by now, so how long can Russia actually keep this up before they run out of disposable people nobody cares about?

It's pure cope. The large majority of VDV in 2022, and virtually every single Spetsnaz soldier in 2022, were killed or grievously wounded by the end of 2023.

Spetsnaz took especially high casualties because they would be allocated to regular units on a quota system, and then most commanders would think, "these guys are elite, they can complete a mission my grunts failed!" and throw them into suicide missions. If they somehow completed that mission, they'd just be sent on another one. This combined with several Ukrainian efforts targeting them made them endangered by mid 2022 and completely extinct by late 2023 - any "spetsnaz" you see nowadays are either "spetsnaz" from police or federal agencies (russia uses the term for a variety of internal forces that are not real SF soldiers) or are replacements of questionable quality drawn from survivors of regular infantry units. At the very least, they're used a bit more appropriately as SF now, but with lower standards and loss of institutional knowledge, they're not very effective.

VDV units are now largely identical to common motor rifle units, being largely comprised of mobiks with minimal training, but a bit better equipment than average. Everyone knows about their disaster in Hostomel, but they also took extremely heavy casualties around Kherson prior to the withdrawal in late 2022, and in various other disastrous frontline assault operations in 2022 and 2023; most/all VDV units have had to be reconstituted several times due to casualties incurred, replacing veterans with training with mobik meat. They do still contain relatively well trained (fresh since 2022) muscovite volunteers and I theorize this is why their role has been limited to mostly playing defense in the forests around Kremmina for the past 3 years.

In addition to all the above, in the rare cases where a VDV or Spetsnaz guy actually survives to the end of his contract, he either leaves the service or joins Wagner in Africa.

>they're just more mobik meat that brown-nosed and/or bribed the officer enough to be put into the later waves

No, and stop being a moron.
Their entire ass rape torture organization would have collapsed years ago if there wasn't a veteran core in control of the cattle below them.

Russia's doctrine really is based on recon by meat. They view humans as a cheap abundant resource an act as such. The first wave is not even supposed to survive, their job is to draw enemy fire so the second wave can identify enemy positions and work accordingly. Only after these steps are successful, the more valuable veterans enter the picture to do fuck-all. And, as you can tell from Ukraine, it's not working from them particularly well. They're mostly stuck repeating wave 1.
>>
>>65603281
That image is complete cope and is reversed, they were sending out the fully kitted out guys to die first as seen in 2022.

When they first deployed there was a major 'culture clash' with the Chechens. Basically the Chechens tried their usual shit and the Norks just shot them dead claiming that because of their appearance/behavior they thought they were bandits which isn't inaccurate. Russians on TG were whining about it for a while, it escalated until there was a incident where the Chechens sent a convoy of guys to 'sort it out' and the Norks nailed them with a Kornet. Eventually Shugi had a emergency meeting with the WPKs chief Political Officer and Chechens aren't allowed near the Norks any more.

There is a bit of bitterness since the Norks get medvaced, all new gear and even their own hospital wings in Moscow. They also get rotated out regularly.

Somewhere there is a clip of Russians whining because the Nork's bunker/barracks was so well organized and clean, the idea that it was because the Norks weren't lazy undisciplined retards never occurs to them.

An anon churned the numbers some time back:

At the sham referendum in September 2022, the lists had 1,965,748 electors in DPR and 1,360,768 in LPR. For the September 2026 elections they shrank to 1,630,283 and 1,192,009 respectively.

In 2024 in DPR, LPR, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson 37,541 people arrived from russia, 41,393 residents departed to russia, and 5,150 moved abroad. International arrivals (5,935) aren’t accounted: they aren’t voters. We don’t have data for the other years, we’ll use 2024 as baseline.

To extrapolate we use the population: DPR population 1st January 2024: 2,936,000, LPR: 1,473,900, Kherson: 325,000, Zaporizhzhia: 700,000. DPR + LPR made up 81%. So, emigration from DPR + LPR is 81% of 41,393 + 5,150 = 37’765 per year, for 4 years since September 2022 = 151,060. Same for immigration: 81% of 37,541 = 30,461 x 4 = 121,844.

Not all people moving are adults, we use the % of people above 18 in russia, 81%. Total adult emigration is 122,359, total adult immigration is 98,693.

Removing russian immigrants from the 2026 voters in LPR + DPR we have 2,723,599, that is 602,917 less than 2022. Accounting emigration, we have 480,558 missing adults.

Last thing to account for are natural deaths. In 2019 (before war and COVID), deaths in russia where 1,798,307, people turning of age = 2001 births (deaths before 18 are negligible), 1,311,604. Voters decreased in a year of 486’703, on 108,476,726 voters within russia it’s a 0,45% decrease every year. Applying this % for 4 years on the 2022 voters of DPR and LPR we get a natural decrease of 60,103 voters.

There are 420’454 extra missing, these are death in war. Circa 50% of the adults in 2022 were male and say 80% were able bodied, DPR and LPR lost 32% of the adult male population in 4 years according to russian data (best scenario).

If those are confirmed deaths, basically all the rest must be wounded/missing

tldr We are hitting Paraguay levels that shouldn't even be possible

unironically men who already have grown kids (or at least teens) but aren't geriatics yet SHOULD be sent to the front lines.
better to sacrifice the old generation than the new.
>>
>>65604100
They didn't do anything to stop or win this annoying war. Their only way to serve their nation is to sacrifice themselves for the sake of the very youngsters they didn't do anything for all these fucking years.
All ex-commie/ex-soviet states are like this, or rather most of the world. Everyone older than Gen Z deserves to go on the front lines for not doing what they must've when they had the option. They had the chance to vote, they didn't; they had the choice to build anew, they didn't; the had the option to save money for the future, they smoked and drank it all; they could've cleaned their corner of the world, they threw plastic wrappers and bottles on the streets instead. All of them are alconauts and junkies obsessed with sex and status when they couldn't do the bare minimum and brush their teeth.
You can probably observe my dislike of the elder generations and their choice to do nothing (good). They've passed the bill onwards to youngsters while belittling us and dismissing us as uncultured retards when they didn't even try to teach us anything.

High nosed social rats will get what they deserve for fucking over the younger generations and being negligent and filthy sloths.

the funny part about this cope is that it's the other way around.
they lost ALL their institutional knowledge and even their training squadrons in the beginning of the war, everyone who came after barely gets a week or two of training before they're shipped off to the meatgrinder.
>>
>>65603652
Worth adding that VDV and naval infantry units were acting as QRF to rescue Wagner units whenever shit went sideways. And they did quite often.
That was part of the reason why Progozhin and the MoD were butting heads, the Chef fucked up and the best units available had to come clean up the mess.
