There are plenty of youtubers that demonstrate both of those things. Tons of flash videos out there for most cans. There's a guy on youtube that tests backpressure by using an adjustable gas block and tests how many clicks open it has to be in order to get the gun to cycle.

PSA URGI knockoff brother...
>>
Putting together two uppers.
>7.5" 300AAC upper
>10.5" 5.56 MK12 Mod 0 clone upper
What are the best cheap AR parts and brands? Of BCA, PSA, Expo Arms, and One Horse which makes the best of each?
Specifically, of
>Barrels
>BCGs
>stripped uppers
>upper parts kits
>gas systems (pistol length)
Not too worried about dust covers and charging handles. Brand definitely doesn't matter to me.

>>
>>65608719
>cheap
>.300blk
instead of building 2 poverty uppers focus on a good 556 upper and a suppressor. something tells me you haven't looked at .300blk ammo prices nor suppressors. the bottom of the barrel steel case supersonics are ~75cpr, and subs are going to be around ~$1.50 per round on the low end. save your 556 brass and tell yourself that you'll get into reloading for .300blk down the road if you want to keep the dream alive, but don't throw money away twice.
>>
Should I get a thermal fit upper for my 11.5” build?
>>
>>65608749
>save your 556 brass and tell yourself that you'll get into reloading for .300blk down the road
I already do that. Although most of 223 brass gets converted to 7.62 Tok for my Yugo. I have a jig to cut it down to the right size already and the dies.

I also already have a 300AAC upper. It's a shitty 16" PSA one my brother got me years ago for Christmas. I've got plenty of ammo for it and can make more.
>why not just take that apart to cannibalize the parts?
These cheap PSA uppers are a nightmare to take apart. Everything is way over torqued and pressed. I had to cut off a gas block and tube because I couldn't get the pin out to remove it so I could just get the upper to use on a different build. I'll probably use the BCG and CH from it on one of these builds however.

I am waiting for BF to get cheap parts even cheaper. I just want some range toys. I have a nice MK12 clone I built over the summer with Aero and Faxxon Parts. I have a Colt AR15A4. I've got good quality ARs that I love. I'm just done with my 16" beaters now that I can have SBRs.

When you get a new scope that's going to cause other scopes to shift around builds do you wait for the new one to arrive to zero and admire them all at once or do you setup the rifles that are simply inheriting scopes you already have to take pics and mire them while you wait?

Not a good comparison, PCs go together with just a screwdriver. AR15s use punches, vice, reaction rod, torque wrench, crow foot, plus specialty fluids. You should buy the punch set regardless, and you should have a screwdriver and hex head set anyway, so you can assemble and service a lower receiver but it's genuinely cost effective and beginner friendly to buy the assembled upper receiver.

The 11.5" CQB mod 2 I have is overgassed, I had to use H3 + Springco Orange + KAK downvent DBC carrier with the RC2 and now I run the CRS-3 with an H2 + Springco Blue + milspec carrier and I'm getting perfect ejection. My main point is don't be laser focused on the bullseye, just pick a part of the target that allows you an easier time getting back to the exact point of aim. That could be the corner of a random square on the target for example, whatever provides the most contrast.

Just walk out and check if you can, bring the target back on the carousel.
Its 200 yards round trip you could use the exercise anyway probably

I'm seeing that vortex 1-10 being bundled with complete dd rifles for the same price as just the scope on eurooptic. It's basically a free rifle. There has to be something wrong with one of them right? Maybe the scopes aren't moving so they want to sweeten the deal?
