cucky gunner sales datahttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DwPc8TW5UUM
>>65609568i'm happy to see 7.62x39 still going strong
>>65609573Im surprised, I would have figured 300 larpout would have took its spot. Must be alot more SKS and AK rifles kicking around than I thought.
>>65609576>>65609573.300 blacked is going to surpass x39 in a year or 2 if the graph trend lines hold up. .300 blacked keeps going up and x39 sales have died since the import ban
>>65609573luv me AKluv me AR47luv me 7.62x39simple as
>>65609568>.30 carbine 4thNo wayAlso no .22lr?
>>65609568>300 nigger beating out 308 winCHADsterProof modern gun owners are retarded
>>65609602What's even the point? From a cursory look at ballistic data its damn near 9milly unless I misread something. Why not just use a silenced mp5 clone or something if you really want something rifle shaped
>>65609583Concur. It’s becoming much cheaper (it always should have been imo but I’ve never graphed or projected start up costs)>>65609600I’m sure it’s not counted in this catagory
>>65609600>>65609613he didn't count .22lr with the rifle rounds. he had an earlier graph, .22lr made up 15.5% of their total sales behind only 9mm and .223/5.56..22lr sales would also be even lower because people buy .22lr and 12 gauge from walmart or other physical stores since .22lr is so cheap you have to buy a ton of it to offset the shipping costs >>656096026.5 sneed is also raping fuddy ot 6>>65609607there's no way the supersonics are as weak as 9mm
>>65609607>Why not just use a silenced mp5 clone or something if you really want something rifle shapedYou cant discount the convenience of only having to swap an upper receiver and still being able to use your standard 556 mags and bolt. This is hobby mostly driven by cost and an upper is cheaper than investing in a whole new firearm and magazines.
>>65609620Look it up for yourself when I've done so the numbers were p. similar>>65609624Gunsoomers are pretty insensitive to price
>>65609573Honestly surprised. Would've expected a higher impact by the import ban.
>>65609568>people still buying fucking x39literally why. it's gotta be rednecks at this point.
>>65609607>>65609602gun owners are literally retarded. would rather buy 300 black than a fucking 308 battle rifle
>>65609568Out of curiousity, why did .30 carbine fall off? Did it get supplanted by a similar, yet better round?
>>65609984Carbines became much more expensive and harder to come by
>>65609602I just got back from the range testing some new .308 loads. 175gr SMKs @2760fps
>>65609626300 memeout is similar to 7.62x39 than it is to 9mm>pic related
>>65609626>Look it up for yourselfYou should probably do that. It is nothing like 9mm.
>>65610003At rifle barrel lengths and with subs the 9mm has similar velocity with marginal muzzle energy differences
>>65610028
>>65609568I have a hard time believing they sold that much .30 carbine.
>>65609568Sad to see .30 Carbine go, even though it was expected.
>>65609602Its cheaper, so they can buy more with each paycheck. It's also consumed faster in 30-round mags rather than 20-round mags.
>>65609602Most people don't hunt so .300 Blackout is more versatile
>>65609568love me .30____hate ____mmsimple as
>>65609975Pls do not disparage the distinguished SKS enjoyers of the nation. Instead please focus your negative attentions on tranny commie larpers and ak tankies
>>65609975they own guns that shoot x39>>65609984>>65609987there's only one gun that shoots .30 carbine and cucky gunner said it only ever sells in years where they obtain a lot of cheap milsurp. it was only in the top 5 because they had a ton of milsurp that first year or because it was like 1% but the other calibers were rarer
>>65609568>6.5 Sneedmore on the chartYES BABY
>>65610449I just like the fact that it’s tied with .308 lol fitting
>>6560956830-06 still surprises me desu. EVERYONE shoots that damn thing. The ammo is so expensive even for the M1 so you’re basically looking at hunters and a couple match competitors keeping it alive.
>>65609568Why is 7.62x39 so expensive if its so popular? Unless you shoot the dirtiest, steel case, corrossive shit its my most pricy gun to feed. My second is .308 and its like 10 cents a round cheaper.
>>65610475the cucky gunner guy pointed out that hunting ammo sells for so much, you don't actually need to sell that many round per year for companies to make it since they already have all the equipment and .30-06 has a large install baseAlso, I'd assume their .30-06 sales are lower than .30-06 sales in general because a lot of hunters probably buy their .30-06 and .30-30 in person and not in bulk >>65610525legacy install base from when we could get cheap russian ammo. no one ever tooled up to make cheap plinking ammo for it in the US because they could never compete with the russian imports on cost and there's still a massive install base
>>65609568no fucking way 30 carbine is on this list
>>65610857Come to think of it you're right. But its been over a decade now, why are all the ammo producers just leaving money on the table for such a well established cartridge? Im not saying it has to be cranked out like it's .22lr but for one of the most popular cartridges in the world its kind of a bitch to get cheap and bulk with any quality left over.
>>65610956I think it's just a coincidence. he said they only really sell .30 carbine in years where they receive a large supply of cheap milsurp. the first year they had a lot of cheap milsurp and he said most of the hunting rounds don't sell anyway. like everything below x39 sells less than 2% of all centerfire rifle sales each and anything below the top 10 sells less than 1% combined. Plus, the first year was 2010 so most hunters were probably buying their hunting rounds at physical stores. He specifically said they got a ton of cheap .30 carbine milsurp in 2010 and that was one of their highest sales years for .30 carbine. If you look at the 2010 list its, 5.56, x39, .30 carbine. x51 nato and .30-06 so I'd assume milsurp drove a lot of their sales back then
>>65610991So what hes saying is he released useless data?
>>65611079watch the vid. he admits they are just cucky gunner sales figs and not industry wide sales figs and he shows multiple graphs and admits that 30 carbine only sells in years where they have a lot of cheap milsurp and 2010, the first full year of sales data, happened to be a year where they had a lot of .30 carbine milsurpthe stuff he thought was the most interesting is that 9mm makes up the vast majority of handgun sales. .223/5.56, 9mm and .22lr makes up like 3/4rds of all of his sales. and that sales of centerfire rifle ammo that isn't .223/5.56 or x39 is so low that .300 blacked and 6.5 sneedmore are now in the top 5 for rifle sales, even though they are extremely new rounds.
yeah
>>65609602300blk is more likely to get mag dumped while 308 is more expensive and used for longer shots at slower rof>>65609607300blk is pointier and therefore better penetration at subsonic speeds, then you can do a mag change and shoot supers out of the same gun that perform close to 7.62x39
>>65610968Uses a .313 bullet for one.
30-06 :)
>>65609607Maybe subs out of the same barrel length.
I kow key regret getting into 300 instead of just putting all of that money back into my 5.56 rifle. Its a cool round but the subsonic gimmick wears off after a few range trips and wildly different ballistics of subsonic vs supersonic makes picking a compromise zero unsatisfactory.
>>65616597don't they have 2 dot red dots for .300 blacked?
>>65609573>Fueled entirely by dracos Monkeys paw finger curls.jpg
>>65609602.308 ARs cost triple what .300 nigra ARs cost.
>>65609602if I didn't live in a cuckstate I'd have a .300 blacked AR over a normal 16 inch 5.56 for HD because muh noise
>>65616759I thought the same but 300 subsonics especially have an over-penetration issue with drywall
>>65616769that sucks
>>65616769Good. Those bastards can’t hide from me now.
>>65616597If you don’t care what others think about you, Consider
>>65616597I have a .308 and I intend to develop a supersonic and subsonic load such that I can have one zero and use different holds on the scope
>>65616568Correct, longer barrels
