Gentlemen,The season is upon us (or shortly will be).Post, discuss, and argue over your favorite durr hunting cartridges. My personal favorite is the Hornady Leverevolution 444 Marlin.She can reach out to 200yds easily with minimal drop and loss of power which works for me since im a brush hunter with my furthest durr shot being 176yds. She slams like a hammer and turns the lungs to slurry when you aim for them. One year the round hit a rib on the way out and I could fit a fist (porn fist, not punching fist) into the exit hole.When struck in the neck, the drop like their strings were cut. First year I used one it went through two branches before hitting the deer. The branches were small and dead, but still.Note: there's a faggot that lives in the suburbs that shows up every durr season to pretend to be an expert and hates durr hunters. Please remind him that he's a faggot.
Taken multiple deer with Brenneke slugs from my 20ga, so that's my favorite

>>65612602I shoot deer pretty regularly with .22 Magnum. They come into my yard to eat sprouts under the bird feeder my wife put out. I sit in my chair with the living room window open and pop them just below the ear from about 35 feet. That kills or stuns them, but I go ahead and put 4 or 5 follow up shots through the head to make sure. I can usually get 2 or 3 over the course of a couple weeks at the start of the season before they wise up and stop coming up to the house, then I put out food for a few months to get them used to it again over winter/spring. I never lack for venison.
