Tf are chinks spending this much money on when they just keep copying america
>>
>>65612863
it's not that easy to copy high end tech
>>
Their swat teams and riot cops, the PAP; come under military jurisdiction.
>>
>>65612863
Copying doesn't mean much if you can't recreate it, and thats a chunk of change to get operational

>Tf are chinks spending this much money on when they just keep copying america

They copy America by also studying everything the US does and using it as a reference for what works. It saves them a shit tonne of money/times in terms or R&D. It still costs a shit tonne of money though.
>>
>>65613202
Copying other people's work is counter productive because you don't actually learn anything.
>>
>>65612863
Why do they spend a third of America's trillion and yet accomplish so much more? You're a big boy, you'll figure it out.
>>
>>65613207
high school isn't the real world
>>
>>65613283
then why is china not numba won? all they can do is glue LEDs to everything and shovel more and more 50 dollar drones into the drone show circus
>>
>>65613296
because they are pussies
you can make the largest army and supply it with current gen weapons but what does any of it mean if the only violent conflict you were involved in in the last 60 years is whacking jeets with sticks in the mountains
>>
>>65613296
Maybe don't approach the topic from a blatant bias borne of preconceived notions? I know this is /k/ and good faith arguments are illegal but China doesn't just copy everything nor solely use subpar equipment. The US is still the world's foremost power by a good margin but that margin is ultimately shrinking even if it may take China over a decade to bridge that gap.
>>
>>65613307
China struggles with anyone more combative than the Dalai Lama.
>>
>>65612863
We need to cut the mandarory $3,800,000,000 minimum annual military funding to israel and bump up our own funding.
>>
>>65612863
>Massively expansing naval fleet size
>Naval fleet is being actively built right now
>R&D for multiple types of carriers within 10 years of one another
>Building out islands to plop airbases and naval bases in the middle of the south china sea
>R&D for 5th and 6th gen airframes
>Popping out new airframes to the point where their air force is basically going to be all 5th and 6th gen airframes
>New suite of armored vehicles and small arms for their ground forces
>Drones
>Military satellites and rockets
Chinks are busy little bees. Whether or not their new toys means that they'll win a war against the US and its allies is up for debate
>>
>>65613539
Whether or not our allies will join is itself a matter of debate, Taiwan will obviously be involved and maybe the Philippines will join in, but what of Japan and Korea? Will Europe do anything beyond perhaps some sanctions? I doubt it.
>>
>>65612863
China and Ukraine could be allies
>>
>>65613578
>Taiwan
Gets taken over by force or is starved to death and then taken over by force
>Philippines
No means to go to war
>Japan
Gets nuked 10x the very picosecond it enters the war
>Korea
Too busy with North Korea
>The US
Will rugpull all of the above for a "G3 alliance" with China and Russia
Any outcome other than this is purely wishful thinking and you know it
>>
>>65613879
People keep saying that Trump will throw Taiwan under the bus but really, who knows what goes on in that demented pedophilic mind of his?
>>
>>65613931
That's Biden you're thinking of. Trump is the guy that saved us from Biden
>>
>>65613981
There are so many things I could say to that and precisely none of them would get through to you so I will simply refrain.
>>
>>65612863
R&D is a fairly small drop in a very large bucket. The real killers are things like salary, base upkeep, healthcare, and equipment procurement. They’ve got a lot of bodies, even when things are cheaper there it still adds up really fast.
>>
>>65613931
He is not a pedophile. Are you ignorant or a womanly liar?
>>
>>65613992
>salary, base upkeep, healthcare, and equipment procurement
Things that you still have to pay for while doing R&D and resting.

That is pretty normal for peacetime.

Your kind really will overlook everything presumably because he's bombing Iran for the sake of an "ally" who is more of a liability for us at this point.
>>65614103
>This guy lives in a "communist" nation so clearly he must be a communist
>>
>>65613319
P sure that was bait, mait

Pic is the PCL-181, wheeled arty designed to be deployed side by side with other wheeled platforms (IFVs namely) and can travel up to 80km/hr. Whatever the new meta will be for "near peer" conflict, China has some ideas of how to fight on its own territory, and are building accordingly. Either you know that or you are a stupid civilian with no understanding on military topics
>>
>>65614284
Oh and to the point about copying, it fires 155mm shells
>>
>>65614288
Hey retard, the 155mm originated in France, so the US also copied the frogs. As for why China uses it, it's because Gerald Bull designed a gun for them just like how he designed a lot of guns for a lot of people before getting bumped off by the glowiest among us.

The left has latched on to that insult because they found its the one thing that right wingers condemn now that they've worn out racist, sexist, nazi, antisemite, etc. Unfortunately for them we all remember them vigorously defending pedos for decades prior, including the creepy ass shit fucking Hunter Biden had in his laptop. And of course, defending the trannies and the literal nambla politicians going back to the 70s.
>>
This thread is just chink shilling and /pol/ack spamming.
>>
>>65615091
Just typical boomer rednecks refusing to admit that they fucked up beyond repair and looking for validation.
>>
>>65613578
Heavily dependent on who is in the White House and how China decides to play it. Either they pull the will-they-won't-they pushing the line further and further with blockades and subversive tactics short of a full invasion, and the US responds to that growing escalation, or they decide that escalation is stupid (which it is) and go full balls to the walls hitting every US base in the region with everything they've got, which will get other countries involved but will at least give them the advantage in the following months, if not outright convincing the US to pull out (again, highly dependent on who is in the White House).
>>
>>65614803
I would sooner lose a war than be "allies" with russia again.
>>
to be fair the spending doesn't tell the whole story china is exporting arms as well.

so is america not really a fair compearison.
>>
>>65612863
Damn, Germany wants to spend at least 4% in the coming years.
>>
>>65612863
Their fleet and nuclear forces are tiny, so they have to build a fuckton of new ships and ICBMs and warheads and such whereas the US just has to build enough to replace what gets worn out. Once China builds up to a nominal force parity with the US, in theory they'll then be able to invest more of their budget into designing stuff that actually works and eventually phasing out the garbage they're pumping out now.
