>.44 mag Rugers look nicer than 10/22sWhat causes this? Is it just the knowledge that it's filled with 4 rounds of .44 mag instead of .22lr?
>>65614626Guns that are a larger or smaller version of the original that don't suck are based simple as.
>>65614626It's the lack of picatinny rail. Old 10/22s also look nicer than new 10/22s.
it might just be big round bullet
Because .44 Magnum is based.
>>65614771The old finish is just insanely nice. I'm not sure if it's anodizing or just some really well done coating. Tempts me to anodize mine once the powder coat goes to shit.
>>65616999I think its some kind of paint since the finish on my dad's 80s one is flaking offI also like the old style mag release, nice and flush
>>65616999>>65617519Early were baked enamel, later used powder coating.Don't know what they're using now.
>>65614626Biggest thing in this regard I’ve noticed is that I tend to think the single stack big bullet handguns (.45, 10mm) look a lot better then their double stack 9mm counterparts. The double stack grip dimensions just tend to mess up the proportions I guess. For instance the p220 looks aesthetic as hell compared to the p226.
>>65617612They did an actual double-stack P210 variant prototype, the Sig 44/16, but only a couple. Damn shame, it'd probably have been one of the very best Wondernines, it was that sweet as fuck P210 with all its goodness, but with a whopping 16 round magazine of 9mm Parabellum.Minor compromise on aesthetics, but not like they couldn't have altered it to look a bit more like the original grip, it already mostly does.
>>65617519I have a 1996 model and agree the flush mag release is better
The bolt and ejection port are taller
