What is your plan to connect to the internet if power or internet cables get cut? What is the modern equivalent to a ham radio in 1945? Starlink? Cellphone modem with directional antenna? How do you stay in the loop?Photo unrelated.
>>65614980Would... feed mashed potatos and butter!
I expected a filter malfunction. How boring.
>>65614996I expected a penis, this being /k/ and all
>>65614980>What is the modern equivalent to a ham radioA HAM radio.
>>65614996asian's got that V-Spec face surgery, bolt on titties to help get rid of the worst uggos
>>65615020Yeah, but they still all use filters to suc ha degree that you might as well look at full-on AI slop.
>>65614984Patrician taste anon (both in preferred body type and in food)
Coffee helps me shit.
Make her eat all the eggs.
>>65614980VHF / UHF, anything else is cope.
>>65614980Touch grass, you fucking loser.
retard here. what even is EW? can someone provide examples? is it like spoofing an enemy’s radar or hacking their reactors or something?
>>65615243It's anything that fucks with electronic sensors and communication, this could be an IR lamp that blinds IR seekers or a jammer blocking radio comms. If you have ever been driving and heard two different radio stations at the same time on the same frequency that is accidental jamming, deliberate jamming just shits out static instead of music.
>>65615101>suc ha degreeSounds like a charlie prostitute name
>>65614980I guess for Asians this would be considered "birthing hips"?
Is Asian pussy good for you?

>>656154831 week until I'm back in Vietnam for 40 days, I'll be visting little Japan in Saigon again.
>>65615493>SaigonkekDo tehy actually call it Ho Chi Minh City, or is that just the usual authoritarian propaganda bit of renaming a place for Dear Leader?
>>65615500It's a mix, everyone in the north calls it Ho Chi Minh while about half of HVMC calls it Saigon.
>>65614980Comms: Pre vetted series of repeater nodes. PW lock & key pair system + a broadcast time/freq. table. Nice filter chang.
>>65614980Ham radio is still the way to go. Frequencies operate differently at different times of the day.NVIS will always be a thing at frequencies 14mhz and under. Which means you can local coms inside a 200 mile circle no problem and foxfinding isnt effective.Jamming a range of frequencies again, only functions if your near enough given certain conditions. Ft8 cw and ssb are all still functional relatively locally. Ft8 and cw especially directionally long distance at 10 wats. Vhf uhf for local coms is non issue. Its not worth worrying about how to communicate. Nerdy hams have had it figured out for ages. Alternatively theres always LoRa meshtastic shit.
>>65615215Have fun coordinating beyond 30 miles
>>65615570What do you think is commercially avaliable with greater range and has no dependance on infurstructure?
>>65615243broadly speaking any military activity against an adversary in the electromagnetic spectrum is EW, including detecting, decrypting, interfering with, spoofing, jamming communications, search efforts, target engagement and so on. some of the more common actions like using radar to search targets or using encrypted comms aren't generally considered EW despite fitting the definition because they are so commonplace rather than being a specialized task but everything relating to supporting or interfering with those is.
>>65614980I immediately shoot myself in the head because I’ve been separated from the precious internet.

>>65614980crazy how many anons got filtered by a filterin answer your question, the meshtastic stuff looks awesome and is a nice addition to HAM as >>65615018 said
>>65614980>coffeeposterfuck off, turdie>doesnt have a HAM radio licensengmi>>65615730meshtastic seems to rely on more on newer tech with a less robust supply chain, and not a big enough mesh net (at least where I live).
>>65614984this works. my ex would say i introduced her to dairy products and got her fat.
>>65615786you architected her and you still let her get away? for shame!
>>65615586High powered lasers signaling Morse
No ass
>>65615807she wasnt even fat. she called it "asian fat", which is barely even a pudge honestly. i never noticed anything different over time anyway. asians are crazy about weight, probably to an unhealthy degree. we both love food. i always respectfully told her to stfu when she started complaining shes 'soooooooo faaaaaaaaat'. also she left me. FML.
>>65615018>A HAM radio.Do they have new digital stuff, like i can connect to some long distance wifi or some kinda low data rate alternate internet? or are you talking about taping out morse code, cuz morse code is dumb.>>65615215>>VHF / UHF, anything else is cope.just like red dot frequency stuff? I dont find it useful. Better off with an ordinary am radio.>>65615557I'm trying to find out how I can get access to internet sites like bb-c, rt, aljazeera, sabanet, etc to see their perspective/take if someone starts taking out internet lines and jamming/bombing ISPs and what not. I assume the cable internet and cell towers will be the first things taken down. Either by the enemy or our guys. Like, I got three generators and a solar system, i got power when the grid goes down but what about information? I assume all the local radio channels will be saying how great Trump is and we need to bow down seven times a day towards washington or something if were at war. This meshtastic seems interesting but i'm not sure if i just local stuff, or i can get to some place across the world.
https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c5rmy84np001oThis is the article that got me thinking. I agree with the tin food part but it says they buy radios, but what good are they if it's one directional and most of the broadcasts are propaganda.
>>65615676>broadly speaking any military activity against an adversary in the electromagnetic spectrum is EW, including detecting, decrypting, interfering with, spoofing, jamming communications, search efforts, target engagement and so on.I was thinking a virus that bricks all internet modems/switches or some kinda AI that hacks then disables network hardware.
