Should I do it?

If you own your house and the pension + passive income will cover your costs do whatever you want. Hell if you are living under a bridge do whatever you want.
>>
Last I heard, .408 was like $7.50/round. And that was about ten years ago. Git gud with a cheaper caliber first.

Unless you're just LARPing. Then go for it.

why not .50BMG instead?
>>
whats the longest range you have access to?

Honest question from a noob: why go for the less popular Cheytac cartridge (most people prefer the .375 Cheytac for its higher BC and less drop)? Furthermore, if you insist on the bigger bullet, why not go for the .416 Barrett, which stays supersonic for an extra 200 yards?

Because the M200 is unfortunately a dogshit gun and CheyTac has bad CS
