It's something you do over a lifetime and figure out gradually what you like. Or to put it more neutrally, it's just something that happens. I was almost 30 and had a double digit body count with both genders before I started enjoying sex. And even now I can't pretend my healthiest relationships have had the best sex.


If you had it before you'll eventually have it again... maybe by telling yourself you're just doing it to please your partner. That's the standard narrative people often go with.
