I use codex. What's ur?
I'm forced to use claude at work. it's pretty cool desu although I have a lot of hang-ups re:AI usage...I recently found out there are people at my company who blow through their entire token allocation and I'm sitting below 10% because I basically only use it if I get really frustrated or strapped for time. how do you use codex usually?
>>43689116the only trutrans usage of ai is leaving your husband to fuck chatgpt
>>43689174My job wants us using AI as much as possible, I just tell claude to look at tickets, grab whatever, do it, put a PR up and reply. My job is now to sit in meetings twice a day and press enter when claude asks for permissions
>>43689116touch grass holy shit
I'm using kimi bc it's cheaper
>>43689757not gonna lie, just being able to tell claude "go to jira and read ticket 1234, make a branch and then complete the requirements" is veeery convenient sometimes. I'm scared to use it too much because I keep seeing engineering candidates in interviews with us who literally don't remember how to program. one guy even said something like "oh wow I forgot how to do this I usually let copilot do it for me" in an interview and I was like "dude. come on"
>>43690200I mean yeh, I don't know that I like the way the industry is going, I like coding, but it is what it is. It's so much faster to just get claude to do everything I can't even really bring myself to code my own projects by hand, why would I when I can just say "claude do this" and go cook dinner and come back to a working implementation
