Those of you who got kicked out / had to flee from your parents house, what happened and how did you make it on your own? I feel the vibe starting to shift my house after the HRT started showing changes and I think I'll be banished soon.
>>43689542get literally any job. get 3 rooomates. ex
>>43689574>looks at the job marketUh oh
>>43689542>I think I'll be banished soon.Explain.
>>43689602nta, but some parents in more conservative environments (surprisingly the USA very commonly) straight up think being trans is something like demonic possession or an affrontery to god, so they kick you out with no real concern for you instead of just being miserable and passive-aggressive. family bonds in some countries are shockingly weak
>>43689602They keep talking to me about the prices of houses and apartments. They keep saying I look sick (I don't). They keep blaming me for any mess or unfinished chore in the house. This all started happening once I got noticable tits
>>43689707>insinuating that hrt is making you illclassic family tactic
>>43689687What year is this?>>43689707What else have you been doing to provoke them? Tits can be hidden for quite some time.
>>43689756Existing. I got called a woman when I was in public with my dad and this upset him greatly
>>43689542It’s been 17 years so like learn to get better at lying, save cash, if your bank account is tied to theirs they will use it against you. Look into alternative banks and credit unions, federal credit unions are great. Get a job, put the fries in the bag, the more you work the more you save, sell off shit you can’t take with you, you don’t need it, keep to essentials, get a burner phone, your phone is a tracking device that will only work against you, I have more info on hardship living if you want
>>43689818Please
I had to flee. My family hates me.I live in an RV now lol.
>>43689836How is RV life, nona? Been thinking about it myself
>>43689845Aside from being lonely, it's quite nice actually. Just wish I had someone to enjoy it with but apparently it's a big turn off.
>>43689825So the first step is get a job - dollar general, Walmart, McDonald, whatever you can that’s a chain. You can transfer out to another location and keep being employed but you’ll need money to start assuming you don’t have much. The more you work the more you can plan towards a new lifeDelete all social media, any account tied to you, your privacy is none of their concern, they will talk to other family to convince you to come back, it’s best to start fresh if you need itDo you own a car and is the title in your name, if not you’ll need a contact to get you and a plan of action on when and how to leave, greyhound (how I got out) isn’t a terrible choice but not the best in terms of personal safety just sayingYou’ll need to stockpile enough meds to get through a rough patch of income, at least 3-6months worth until you find a placeGetting a place might be difficult, if you have a friend to stay with be ready and willing to offer cash, if they rent you can’t stay for long. Look into extended stay motels, for temporary accommodations they’re okay (look at studio6 or motel8) you’ll have to pay around 1200 a month for it which is doable with minimum wage. You can also have mail delivered to these places so you can still diy. For food go to the food bank, you’ll get used to it, there are also discount food stores, anyway that you can cut out luxury spending will be beneficial. About a year or so out you should start looking into a legal name change, there’s no reason to keep any attachment. If I think of more I’ll add to this, it feels like a lifetime ago so I’m sorry if I’m forgetting anything
>>43689769the greatest humiliation for a father. I get it
>>43689542@idril__ add me on discord.I will not let you go through what I did if I can help it. That's all I'll say.
>>43689542I'm getting kicked out soon too anon
>>43691369damn
>>43689542I'm not a tranny but in this day and age I think it would be just easier for me to flee somewhere (probably outside of the country) and just kill myself.Given with what I'm burdened with, there's no real way for me to crawl out of what I have. God hates us all.
>>43689870its superior to apartments or roommates
Just get a rich husband to house you. Very simple
>>43691883Yep absolutely. I don't have to smell the neighbour's curry, I don't have to deal with stoner roommates who make a mess in the kitchen and don't clean it up. I don't have to commit to 12 month leases. I don't have to get a moving truck or do much planning to move away from somewhere. I also generate my own electricity from solar. Just wish I had someone who was interested in it like I am ;-;
>>43691942Van/RV life requirements a deep level of intimacy due to the restrictive space options. It's difficult to find someone out of the blue that will vibe with you in such a small spot
>>43691942Living in a van/RV sounds comfy
>>43689542I got kicked out in my early 20s. I spent a summer on the street and then I went to job corps. After that I went to college, then moved states for grad school, and today I have a little niche in my local area that helps me pay the bills. It's good enough out here that I recently applied to a different job in the same field and got the job while already having a job so I can't complain. It was definitely rough out there for a summer tho.
>>43691965I obviously don't expect someone to live with me full-time in here. This whole thing was meant to be temporary anyway. I'd be chill renting a house and splitting the rent where I can park in the yard/driveway and just use it as my bedroom when we're not traveling, that way we still have our own spaces lots of the time.
>>43689542>what happened and how did you make it on your own?late to the thread but ill share my experience>be me, pre everything 4 years ago>grew up being beaten for being gay(not even tranny yet)>wanted to troon>worked a shitty job for a year to save money>researched the fuck out of multiple cities, tldr dont live around blacks>researched work and living prices( food prices/gas/insurance/electricity/heating/cell etc for living costs not just rent)>moved CA->RI with ~9k saved>22.75/h with living costs of ~1900usd per month>shitty studio but it was mine and I could troon in peaceRooming is also an option but I cant really comment on it as i've had some bad experiences with a hs friend before so I had trust issues and didnt want to risk it. Either way, the biggest thing is to research everything.I had around 9-10k saved at the time I moved but I barely scrapped the barrel, please be careful with finances they drain fast. Theres never enough before moving so the more the better youll beI almost ended up on the street when I got hit by a car so put money aside every month, even if its just 100 it can help.
>>43692717Glad that bad things happened to you
