>went bowling with some friends for the first time since I've started hrt
>had to go and borrow a pair of bowling shoes
>ask the clerk for size 43 (us 10), the same shoe size I've had since 14
>he hands me the shoes and I go to put them on
>they're huge, way too huge to comfortably play
>think nothing of it cause shoe sizes can wildly vary
>head back to the clerk and ask him for another pair in size 42
>try them on, they're still huge
>go to the clerk yet again and awkwardly ask him for size 41 (us 8.5)
>"at this point I'll just wear them them no matter how they might fit"
>put them on. they fit perfectly
>genuinely surprised, I ask the others whether they needed to a smaller size as well
>everybody is confused because they all thought their sizes were a really snug fit, and some even needed shoes one size larger

I've always believed that your feet shrinking on hrt was absolute honscience, and I'm still extremely skeptical of it, but I really don't know what to make of what happened today.
I unfortunately didn't measure my feet prior to starting hrt, so I can't just compare and see if they really shrank
Is feet shrinkage an actual effect of estrogen, or am I just coping?

Happened to me, too. Just had to get new shoes for the first time in like 2 years and dropped from a US 10.5 to a 9.5. Didn't realize how bad my old shoes felt until I put on the new pair that actually fits
>>
I also bowled well today
>>
>>43689862
Happy for you. Mine are the same size.
>>
>>43690279
I still haven't measured them, so they might still be the same size
>>
Hey girl I'm 8.5, too, although there's some wiggle room in there at that size. Could maybe fit into 8 comfortably but 8.5 is what I've settled on. Why did you think you were 10?
>>
>>43692960
Because that's the size I always used to wear, and there was no wiggle room at all. I wasn't able to wear shoes even only a single size smaller

cool story but we are missing critical info
>the first time since I've started hrt
ok that is nice good for you but how many weeks/months/years is that?

but more importantly how old are you?

>I unfortunately didn't measure my feet prior to starting hrt
Youve never been bowling before? You were wearing regular shoes with a size? You dont know your size? You cant buy the same shoe you currently own again? Or even try it on?

>Is feet shrinkage an actual effect of estrogen
they say it is and i believe them. its supposed to effect joints and that adds up
>or am I just coping?
no probly not but consider time of day. idk about feet but you do shrink in height at night.
>>
>>43693122
>how many weeks/months/years is that?
Only 9 months

>but more importantly how old are you?
21 and a half

>Youve never been bowling before?
I have, and I always wore size 43, which definitely didn't use to be so huge.
I was saying that I didn't measure my feet prior to hrt referring to their exact length in cm and that I can't make a direct and empiric comparison

>You cant buy the same shoe you currently own again? Or even try it on?
I can. All the shoes that I own are size 43, and I can still wear them without issues. I haven't tried other shoes in smaller sizes yet though

>no probly not but consider time of day
afternoon, like around 2 pm

oh i didnt mean info to determine. i meant for datamining. yes your feet obviously shrunk lol and i think the fact that your so young is an extra plus towards that being likely and a point against it working for us oldshits. esp if you are generally small which presumably you are w those tiny feets. two sizes is way too much for daily fluctuation unless you lost a fuck ton of weight recently too and i dont really see a mechanism for it whereas with height gravity compresses your spine during day and it lengthens at night even up to an inch! but thats over a whole body. two sizes on a feet is way way more in proportion

yeah ive lost close to an inch on my feet, my old skate shoes used to fit very snug on me at a women's 11s. Now im wearing a pair of women's 9s lol
>>
it's honscience and it's very real
>>
I am a EU 36, will I loose a size if I go on hrt?
>>
>>43693216
>esp if you are generally small which presumably you are w those tiny feets.
I'm 176 cm (5'9") tall and have a very moided build
>lost a fuck ton of weight
None yet
>>
>>43693286
why do you care? that's smaller than female average in basically every western country
>>
>>43693248
That's a huge difference too. Maybe feet shrinking on hrt is actually real
>>
>>43693389
they're so wide open shoes would never be an option
>>
>>43693248
