I'm not sure if I can ever get people to care about me. Everyone leaves me and gives up on me. No matter how many times they promise me that they won't leave me, they leave. I feel like all chasers just make sweet promises to get me to believe in them and love them, but once they realize how hard it is to deal with me they give up. I wish that I could have a better mental health and stop wasting my time in relationship with people who clearly don't care about me, but instead could gain self confidence so that I wouldn't rely on other people loving me. Any tips on how to achive that?

Love yourself.

The devil is right lol you cant ever truly be sure anyone will stay thats true unfortunately but you can enjoy the time you have together while you have it and learn to be happier with yourself which unfortunately you can only do through forced habit but i believe in you nona

if men see that you can be easily manipulated, then they'll do that. stop blaming others and better yourself.
become more independent, instead of relying on others to feel good. you and your time are valuable. gl

What did you do before they left? Like what was the cause?

I don't want to be mean about this bit I'm going to say your probably the problem OP. Mental health issues are not your fault but it's also jot there's. It's no one's problem but yours. This world's a nightmare and everyone's suffering through it, so it's not other people's problem to fix you they have their own shit to deal with. If they do try to help that's good on them but they morally don't have to.

I only like women but my experience has been the same. Nobody wants to truly love me, I am just a temporary toy they enjoy for entertainment. Then they get bored and dump me into the trash like garbage. Maybe I am garbage.

NTA, but there doesn't have to be "something" that happened. The last person I gave my heart to pretended to love me right up to the moment when they hit me with the "don't feel the same anymore." Didn't even try to make it work...

Just because someone gets dumped doesn't mean it was their fault. I'm not that Anon (this is me >>43690764) but in my case I literally did nothing wrong, it's totally believable that people can just be fickle and abandon you just because. Happens all the time.

Count yourself privileged if it never happened to you. Most humans do not know how to love, not really. They love what other people do for them. They don't love the people themselves. I learned this over decades of life and love and failure

It usually depends on the person of course, but most of the times it was just me having an episode and they gave up on me, they thought that I'm just unsaveable

It's not even that I get explicitly dumped, they just people just disappear once they realize how much work I can be

I wish I could know how
