On average, middle eastern men are more likely to be gay and trans than white men, but live repressed lives and can't come out.

Gaza was an inside job to distract western marxists from going after saudi arabia for forcing millions of would-be S tier trannies to repress
>>

none of you care about the Sudanese civil war which is way worse, I don't like Israel but you people are unironically NPCs who wouldn't have a single thought or feeling if not for someone shouting in you ear.
>>
>>43692290
And you probably haven't cared about the Yemeni civil war, so what's your point? You can't care about X because Y is worse in your eyes?
>>
>>>43692304
Actually I do know about the Yemeni civil war because unlike you I'm well read and know all about the UAEs list of atrocities

And yeah, that is sort of my point, In the absence of personal attachments to said conflict, if you were truly fair and just people, would would devote a roughly equal amount of attention to each problem proportionately to how bad it is. Maybe not as individuals, but certainly as an average across an entire population.

The fact that you can completely ignore the suffering of the Sudanese people because you only care about the Gazans just proves to me that you are all only in it for the community and the vibes. I don't understand how just and deeply empathetic people could behave like this, so it must be a facade.
>>
>>43692348
I'm not the original poster, I simply pointed out that you can point at any other genocide and go 'look look'.
>would devote a roughly equal amount of attention to each problem
I don't know if you're autistic but no society works like that. Why most people only care about stuff happening in Ukraine and Palestine is that it is simply in the western sphere of influence. It's always been like this, just look at the multiple genocides and famines since 1900, like the German ones of the Herero and Nama. No one cared then, no one cares now.

I agree that all human suffering is bad but it is very reductionistic to look at it the way you do.
>>
>>43692571
Israel is in the western sphere of influence but the UAE isn't?
>>
>>43692822
UAE is only in the western sphere of influence for economical reasons (oil), rather than ideological like with Israel. The common man does not care about the country itself or its inhabitants sadly, they only care if their gas price is affected. Same thing with Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar etc.

What really made me realise that news and media are insanely skewed is how they'll have an article about some school shooting in the US killing like 5 people, but a suicide bombing in Bangladesh killing 15 people might not even get a passing mention.
>>
>>43692917
I can understand people not caring about what hapens in X country the west doesn't interact with at all, but pretty much every country in the west buys oil from the UAE afaik, and thus funds their genocides in the Yemen/Sudan/Where ever else I'm forgetting. Therefore I think westerners SHOULD care deeply about these conflicts, because they can actually put a stop it it by petitioning to their governments to stop buying oil that's funding genocide, just as they are doing with Israel right now. Economic sphere of influence is vastly more important than ideological sphere of influence imo (what does that even mean? Nobody in Europe cares what about what goes on in South America despite them both being mostly liberal democracies)

If your point is that it's understandable they don't care because it's never in the news, then I'd say that's chicken and egg problem, the news reports what people care about, and if western Marxists actually cared they'd make themselves known, and thus it would appear in western news more often and more people would know about it.

Most people care more about their own comfort than any sort of human morals. It's easy to rag on Israel or Russia because most western countries are not dependent on them economically. Pretty much all countries depend on China despite all the fucked up things they've done. The common man doesn't want to give up their luxuries, like buying shirts for $10 made in sweatshops. Regarding the sphere of influence, the reason Israel is in the ideological spotlight is because they're white adjacent, deemed a "westernised democracy", anti muslims, and have ww2 sympathy capital.

My point isn't really that it is understandable. Most people are widely uneducated, despite having pretty much infinite resources at their fingertips (the internet), which is their own fault. But rather that society as a whole is very skewed. I agree that the news do try to sell as much as possible of course, but they also have agendas they push. See the reason that culture war was able to take over the political space of class struggle in the US, following occupy Wall Street.

anon you have to be a woman-tier retard to not understand that normal regular people give more of a fuck about those "closer" to them (and women), and the media lizards know this too

bingo
now can you see I'm jaded by the pro Palestine crowd? These people are supposed to be the exception, they're supposed to be passionate, morally righteous and educated. They have centuries of highly relevant history to be inspired by... and yet they haven't delivered.

I am convinced that only a miniscule fraction of the human race would be independently capable of doing the "right thing" without being egged a million armchair activists on twitter.

I'm not American so I have zero in common with the average American. There is an obsession with the US in European media. It's the only country outside like the UK where the media will report about a MAYOR. Which I think is crazy.
>>
>>43693745
I'm not an amerishart either, and I've switched between the 2nd and first world. People also always think more often of the "more popular" places and countries, and less often of the smaller ones, so that "obsession" is a "normal" bias too
