I don't know what to do with myself, when I was a teenager I came out to my parents and I thought that was the beginning of something but I got hit with the "wait until you're 18" followed by them pretending it never happened. The embarressment had me second guesssing myself to the point I figured maybe it was just a phase, so I largely stopped engaging with trans shit online thinking i'd grow out of it with distance.
