So if you’re relatively young you should be good, but one thing that I really underestimated was how boring and gross the recovery would be, I personally didn’t have as much gross stuff as I thought I would have, but the most nasty part was getting the catheter out and drainage tube out; depending on your pain tolerance you will probably be put on opioids, and after they release you from the care home, you gotta have someone to take care of you if possible, a lot of your early days will be exhausting and mostly taken up by dilation.
