I think the worst thing about the progressive pride flag is that it retroactively messed up the original pride flag. I like the plain rainbow because it's ambiguous so it can cover everything queer. But the progressive pride flag includes the rainbow and trans flag together, implying that trans aren't actually included in the plain rainbow. Plus all the increasingly bastardized and ugly flags that try to cram more and more sexualities n shit on. I generally think it's folly to try and divide up everything into discrete chunks and include them all separately (also why i abstractly dislike lgbtqiafhdbdfsysg+ or whatever extended acronyms). I want the flag to be nonspecific, so we don't have to get a new one every time our conceptions of sex and gender inevitably change or little tommy invents glorposexuality and wants his colors added to the flag too.
