Was only Plebbit recently and got called homo/transphobic for hating on the ":3" emoticon because it's somehow a cornerstone in the LGBT community (I am bi so I considered that rather ironic). I always associated it with furries, esepically the whole LARP side of that community. Has this changed recently? I have noticed an uptick in the use of ":3", but I just figured that more people were considering themselves furries, not that it somehow became a LGBT icon.
