why is the fighting game community so FILLED with trannies? i can' think of any other gaming community, other than speedrunning, that is like this. you don't see trans women in other gaming communities like immersive sims or visual novels or shooters, so why fighting games?

>>43738147>you don't see trans women in other gaming communities like immersive sims or visual novels or shootersbuddy, pretty much every tranny i've ever met likes FPSlop like valorant, counterstrike, TF2, etc. the real answer is trannies are fembrained and get off on attention. they much prefer multiplayer games over single player games. that's also partially why FFXIV is filled to bursting with trannies. the FGC is one of the most close-knit gaming communities out there and trannies are constantly searching for new sources of validation income. being good at a fighting game will get you acceptance and aura among your peers
>>43738960i was gonna say somethng adjacenti think its about diy. like fgc, and specifically melee dont have big sponsorship and are totally carried by the participants. i think this applies to other games that are diy, big ones i can think of are minecraft and supcom. obiously elder scrolls and falloutbig modder communities, self hosting servers, stuff like that. it lends itself to a particular type of thing that has cross appeal. gives a sort of momentum community
