andy warhol was flamingly gay which pissed off fellow artistt\ robert rauschenberg who felt he was straight-passing and apparently bullied warhol for it, a texas public art school teacher in the dallas area, who is a lesbian, told her elementary school art class this, and it freaked the parents out, and they got her fired, she won a settlement, but now teaches high school art, she never returned to elementary school art teaching even after winning teacher of the year
