>>43759308awww thank you anon :)well basically getting a handle on highlight and contour can do crazy things, like nose contour literally just does make it look smaller, putting a little bit down the sides to change where the shadows lie and putting some highlight down the centre just makes your nose look thinner, and a little bit on the tip can create a cute button nose effectas for the eyes, i never leave the house without a frost shimmer on the inner corner, some people like some white eyeliner on the bottom waterline, which like literally just extends the whites of your eyes out, i don’t think that looks good on me, but you should try it yourself!! and some well applied eyeshadow with a little shimmer on the lid too just makes your eyes look brighter and more open!some other things to consider are taking some volume off the bottom of your brows, to give yourself more lid space, and i’m also a huge fan of eyelash extensions, they just give your eyes this big dramatic look that i love so much!!it takes a while to learn and longer to get good at it, and like im certainly no MUA or anything but the difference i can make to my face with these techniques is crazy! just have fun figuring it all out girly <3

We talked a little and he told me about how he used to be a professional sculptor but has had to retire as he got blind in his old age. He had some connection with this art center and encouraged me to check out the classes there and it had been on my mind since then. So since I got the new job that started last month I've been thinking about what other things I should focus on and now have a bit more disposable money, so I was considering different kinds of ways to socialize and get out of the house and I thought this would be a good time to finally take a class at that art center that guy told me about. I was considering a drawing class originally but I noticed in the registration page there was a comics class so I decided to do that instead because I'm interested in drawing as well as writing stories, not that i really have experience doing either. But I do have an appreciation for comics because I studied film in college and took a couple classes on comics because they have a considerable formal cross over with film so I became more familiar with them on that level and that's what drew me towards it. i've also been reading manga since i was like 13 so it goes back
