Do trannies like math?
>>
>>43756113
i love numberphile but im not way into math
>>
>>43756113
I minored in math. Unfortunately you don’t use any of it after graduating college. I work a software dev job.
>>
>>43756131
What's the highest level of math you know?
>>
>>43756113
I like math, I find it fun
>>
>>43756113
I like specifically lambda calculous
>>
>>43756179
Are you a computer science tranny?
>>
>>43756113
ya
>>
>>43756113
i'm a grad student of mathematics

If you trannies are so good at math then solve this, without ai.
>>
>>43756113
i fucking hate math
fuck you

>>43756113
Only in a physics context can I truly enjoy math
>>

>>
>>43756167
I took math all the way to abstract algebra. In total probably like 10 math classes during college.
>>
>>43758076
Cryptography was my favorite math class I took btw. Abstract algebra my least favorite lol.
>>
>>43756179
cant even pick the better parallel cousin the interaction combinator. fake tranny desu
>>
>>43756113
no i'm retarded
>>
>>43756113
Yes. I made my own approximation of sine but I can't show you because the sagemath package was removed from Debian stable the last time it updated and I'm too lazy to install it some other way. So I can't open my Jupyter notebooks.
>>
>>43758088
Alarms are going off when I hear someone say that their favourite was crypto and their least favourite was algebra. What kinda crypto did you do?
>>
>>43758129
“The theory, application, and implementation of mathematical techniques used to secure modern communications. Topics include symmetric and public-key encryption, message integrity, hash functions, block-cipher design and analysis, number theory, and digital signatures.”

https://www-math.umd.edu/undergraduate/departmental-course-pages/offered-courses/402-math-456-cryptology.html
>>
>>43758142
For modern crypto we covered RSA, diffie-Hellman, EDCSA, AES256, SHA, bit of lattice stuff.
>>
>>43756113
>>43756582
No but im good at it, physics makes it bearable, I only did enough so I can study rocks
>>
>>43758129
So no response? You probably thought I took a baby class in cryptography right?
>>
>>43756113
lol no I dropped out of school because math is too complicated and I don’t need it, I was an art major lol
>>
>>43756309
a/b + b/c + c/a = 73
aac + bba + ccb = 73abc
use x=aac y=bba z=ccb all whole >0
x + y + z = 73(xyz)^(1/3)
since x y z are whole, xyz must be a perfect cube. so i guess you could run thru every perfect cube < 71^3 and check each combination of its factors for being xyz? then solve backwards. tbhon im lazysleepy tho imma make some coffee
>>
I'm a chaser and if a tranny majored in math at a good uni I might just propose
>>
>>43758217
what would you bring to the marriage?
>>
I'm a mathematician
Don't like maths much though
>>
>>43756113
i enjoy math at a 'higher level' (applied math) vs pure but i forget it as fast as i pick it up, usually its auxillary to whatever im doing
>>
>>43758142
>>43758181
That is a baby class, respectfully. Anything half-serious in modern crypto is just some variant of finite fields basically.
>>
>>43758266
Sure but it’s more than what normies know
>>
>>43758270
Well obviously. You've taken abstract algebra even so you're like in the top 2% from that alone.
>>
>>43758270
>im better than retards
Wow such high standards you set for yourself
>>
>>43756113
is math male- or fembrained
>>
>>43758287
Male lmao
>>
>>43758287
It's human-brained

I forgot this is a tranny board not sci
>>
>>43758300
Literally the opposite of what I said, but truly proving you're a pseud here
>>
>>43758285
Not wrong though, most i ever did was multivariable calc
>>
>>43758287
Gender ratio in maths is like 50% from my experience. Maybe 40-60 idk but nothing major.
Had tons of women teachers
>>
>>43758318
(nta btw)
>>
>>43758097
Thanks sis. Im learning Bend now
>>
>>43758328
At UMD it was like 80% men 10% women
>>
>>43758336
10% non binary (yours truly).
>>
>>43758325
I mean ig you studied some other stuff so it's fine it's just the stemlords who feel like fkn Feynman or Ramanujan because they attended some basic level introduction courses in something are just the worst people.
Like cryptography is an application of number theory which is very linked to abstract algebra so it makes no sense to hate one but love the other unless you only have the most cursory knowledge

I lift weights
>>
>>43758577
you dont get it, his people invented math and women in stem, this is more than just a passion
>>
I like it but I don't know a lot. I only know up to calc 1 or 2. And to a lot of people that might sound like a lot, but to actual math geeks it's like having 101 knowledge.
>>
>>43756583

This guy is having a mental breakdown

>>43756113
No. They like meth.

>didn't deny being 38
>>
>>43761009
I mean I'm 30 but if I were 38 what would be the issue lmao
>>
>>43756113
I only got up until calc 3. That was when I realized I'm a complete fucking retard who doesn't know shit and barely passed. Haven't done math much since (besides elementary-level for a job I had). Sometimes I think about getting math textbooks and learning it at a slow pace as a hobby, but I don't think I'll ever really do that
