If experience doesnt adjust your attitudes from idealism to pragmatism, it suggests you arent learning the lessons.And I think Ive learned it has to be that way. Not only can you not teach younger people, you shouldnt. If young people though the way older men do, it would annihilate the optimism necessary to advance and they would all be nihilists. Thats why youth inspires, it gives hope a chance. Its built in too. The engine of humanity has always been in the 20's age range. Older can theorize, but its the 20 somethings that actually have the power to make shit happen, no matter how much older is constantly trying to talk them out of it.Humans dont naturally live all that long pre-medicine generally. I heard a troubling theory a few weeks ago that people are living too long because we now have extra time to figure out the cons being played upon us all. That wasnt always the case.
