I do not think that many — actually any — male-to-female trans wish to compete in women’s sports because that is the only way they could win. I think they want to compete in women’s sports because that is validation of themselves as female and because it comes with a built-in audience for that validation. I believe that self-aware autogynephiles would recognize that motivation for what it is and govern themselves accordingly.
