I knew a girl who went to plum tree village, she was kicked out for being overly emotional though I'm not sure the details. I honestly think it can be hard to be trans in a monastary because you have more skin in the game with regards to the political situation, it can be easier to get attached.
i have dreamt for many years of becoming a monk! probably since i was fourteen or fifteen...a life dedicated to personal enlightenment has always seemed a beautiful idea to me. i want to practice martial arts and Think all day. someday i hope to achieve this somehow, or at least a more realistic permutation
