What the hell we need marriage for? The only reason we want to get married is to get some kind of formal recognition of our relationships of comparable depth, such as hospital visitation rights, rights of next of kin, various powers of attorney. There is basically nothing preventing anyone from making such a legally recognized contractual relationship outside of marriage. Tax benefits can stay for breeders.
