We cap how many apartments and houses landlords can own to 2 per landlord. Its just not reasonable to have people who earn so much passive income just from the fact that they inherited it from someone else. This money isnt even being invested all its doing is exploiting the common man who need a place to live.

They will just make a million shell companies who will legally own the properties and operate that way. People do a lot of fucked up shit creating a bunch of legal entities and it gets so complicated that sometimes your landlord isn't actually your landlord, and your landlord actually lives in the Philippines year-round but you'd never know bc of the nested ownership and lack of info.
