How do I fix my gross rough moid skin? I never learned proper skin care
>>

Depends, do you have fairly normal skin?
If yes, shave, exfoliate, moisturize and use sunscreen
if you're older than like 30, consider retinoids for the face
If you have keratosis pilaris suffer

dermalogica daily microfoliant Is pretty good (I don't use it daily only once or twice a week) but you need to use sunscreen if you're gonna exfoliate.
Makes ur skin nice and soft however.

realistic advice

I would also say careful with shaving unless your dysphoria doesn't allow it and you're going out of the house or any other situation where others will see you. It's quite rough on the skin and can cause blemishes, pimples, and ingrowns. Yes there are moisturizers and exfoliating that can help, and concealer and makeup that can cover but that's not a privilege everyone has nor should makeup be relied on for every day when you're just chilling around the house. Said as someone who always hated my facial hair and the feel of it.
>>
for your face: ALWAYS wear a lot of factor 50+ sunscreen when you're going outside in daylight, no matter how sunny it looks. this is the most important thing
also try and clean your face twice a day. nothing more complicated than cleanser - serum - moisturiser unless you have paticuraly sensitive skin or any conditions. also exfoliate maybe once a month or so
for your body just try to moisturise whenever you wash yourself. maybe occasionally exfoliate any problem areas
>>
you can look up tutorials for skin care routines, probably start off with just moisturizer and exfoliant

forgot to mention shaving, but if you want to shave i would highly highly highly recommend you to get a good electric shaver. takes far less time than other methods while being just as close a shave and also is less likely to leave permanent shadow. i usually shave right before cleaning my face

Can you recommend a specific brand?

And don't be afraid of the manly man ones either. Get a good foil or rotary shaver, sterile it with alcohol between shaves, and remember that you get what you pay for

i have a panasonic which was a little bit pricy but i have friends with cheaper ones who seem to get good results too. i think as long as it's a foil shaver it should be good enough

Braun and phillips are some of the best on the consumer market. There are a few others that claim nostalgia or an obscure name but they are hit or miss for a higher price tag and harder to find replacement parts.

Good enough usually means a follow up shave with a manual razor which desu, most of them do no matter the price tag. Not the worst just something to keep in mind

Use a cleanser (Medicated if you got acne and add a oil cleanser if you do makeup), Toner with a application like a cotton ball, Serums that I use have Vitamin C and E, Ninacimide and 1% zinc, eye cream with caffeine for dark spots, have a moisturizer with Hylauronic Acid and SPF 50. For night time ritual include the same thing but include a Retinol for wrinkles, once or two a week include a collagen mask to help your face build a nice skin barrier, no picking at your pimples instead use a pimple patch. I think that is all I know in terms of skin care ^^

>skin care
>exfoliate
>retinoids
>good diet
meanwhile completely smooth skin by having ZERO androgens

why dont you do a basic bit of research on skincare then...?

I forgot to add but I use a lash growth serum on my eyebrows and lashes, it helps them to grow longer so you don't even need eyelash extensions they are the Ordinary multi lash peptide serum. You should do the same process for your body as well when taking a shower. When you shower it is like a natural cleanser so replace the natural oils on your skin with lotion and conditioner, shampoo twice a week, comb your hair 3 times a day, etc...
>>
>>43816838
Please please please find out your hair type first before obsessively combing it to reach a style that really needs lots of styling and product
>>
>>43816895
Yeah exactly it is easy for me because I have straight hair but it may be different for curly haired girls as well

>Cleanser twice a day. First in the morning then at night
>Moisturizer twice a day. Also in the morning and at night before sleep
>Exfoliation once a week to remove dead skin.
>Tretinoin 1 to 2 times a week (depends on the dose) before you sleep
