Gay relationships make me so sad.
We can’t reproduce together.
It’s like we can’t truly be together.
I dunno.
We can adopt but it’s not the same.
There’s no future here.
Just a fleeting passion nobody will remember.

if it makes you feel any better most people don't know shit about more than 2 generations back of ancestors
>>
Im gay and cant even have a relationship with men in an age where being gay is more acceptable
>>
Plato says same-sex relationships engage in spiritual/intellectual procreation. However he was writing in ancient Athens not disgusting modern America sodom Grindr

that's why that gay scientist started the gay mice research to make babies from two gays, they were making good progress last time I checked
also we should advance medtech to where you can install a babymaker, make one, pop out the annoying parts and keep the pp receptacle, and fag it up properly
maybe even swap between woman and man bodies or parts as you feel every week
and also cure aging
and cure human brains
and cure the planet
and the universe

I cope with shit like "our love is in the pleroma" spiel but I know my body and my mind weren't created optimally.
I'll just have to be this weird half-baked thing.

eugenics seems to always boil down to being bad bc of ww2. I've seen documentaries where patients w down syndrome and other debilitating anomalies they live with would approve of the removal of flawed genes. much of the world would benefit from the medtech of eliminating bad genomes but that would go against racial genetics

my parents havent loved eachother or slept in the same bed in 30 years. their children hate them

>and also cure aging
genuinely it would be miserable to live forever. I'm glad there's a finate limit and we're not stuck here forever.
>>
>>43832780
I'd much rather have the option to choose if I live or die. I can always sui if it's *actually* not working out
>>
>>43832760
I'd be careful with eugenics since we tend to be retarded with tech and we have a long history of fucking things up and learning about it later

being able to choose in any fashion ruins the beauty of life itself. the uncertainty of death is something that shapes the way we interact with each other and the world around us. Along with this death and the constant rotation of people, and their views. Without this image If someone dictator gained control of our world and used this power for something bad. finally, I think the uncertainty adds relief. I don't want to be burdened with the knowledge that at any moment I could switch it off. I know this exists to some extent suicide but the physical barrier you must cross to actually kill your body provides a clear and necessary line in the sand.

For you. It works differently for different people. I'd rather have the choice and allow you to have the choice too.

fair enough. just wanted to share how I felt bc I thought it was an interesting topic. why don't you try?
>>

For me, I find that throwing in the "for me, other people can do w/e as long as they don't [...]" caveats with my effortposts produces decent results, otherwise the risk of it being read as "this is how objective reality is for everyone, and how it should be" can often get in the way. In my experience :p

>We can’t reproduce together

RIP cis men gays, should've been born a gayden
>>

was just trying to emphasize it was only my opinion and invite conversation for you to say how u feel. also I don't know if I'd count high 5am ramblings with no pictures attached an effort post but whatever.

If one of you have a willing sister get IVF and a surrogate. You'll create a baby not quite sharing genes but close enough.

to me there is something beautiful about the sameness of a gay relationship. i do not think the purpose of a relationship is to reproduce but rather to love and be loved and gay relationships to me are so intensely loving. its not only loving another but loving 'what you are' too, which feels very meaningful in a world that wants us to hate ourselves for being gay
>>
>>43832690
Ngl, I'm very glad that I won't ever have to deal with raising children
>It’s like we can’t truly be together.
What are these Christcuck brainworms? 'The only purpose of being together with someone is having babies', nah, fuck that shit.
>>
You seem more concerned with the future after you're dead than with living your life, the present and near future.
>>
>>43835484
That's not a christcuck brainworm. Christ didn't even have kids. THE PURPOSE OF THE CHRISTIAN LIFE IS TO OBEY GOD AND LOVE GOD.
>>

>"we"
"We" haven't done shit. The nazis playing Mr Potato Head with POWs wasn't a genuine attempt at science, it was intentional torture. There has never been a single case where a crime against humanity was committed unknowingly by someone who was earnestly just trying to do something useful.
