im not talking about transitioning due to homophobia per se here, im taking broadly. it seems like even people who indulge all things pro-queer, go to protests, wear pride merch, etc actually secretly despise being queer, and love nothing more than selling out their own. transphobia from old gays and lesbians is one thing, and chud queers we all know and understand the problem with, but it also comes down to trans people loving to stick the knife in their own, gay people loving blatantly homophobic media, the general celebration of things that directly harm our interests and the quiet hint of shame that seems to permeate queer peoples minds. it seems like queer people who are vehemently proud of being queer are incredibly rare.
